Version 1 I got back in August of 2020. It was brand new in box but when it arrived it was like someone placed a 200lb cinder block on it... The whole box was crushed, torn, & all mangled up in every way. The figure itself also faced some pretty rough damage. Luckily this one didn't suffer as much from the extreme yellowing these type 1's often have. The biggest issue from the damage this one faced was the fact that the base snapped where the left foot mounts. Although it did not fully snap off, so I was able to just bend it back into place, and glued it down for extra reinforcing. As for mechanical repairs I had to fix only the mouth and also fix the broken back lever. The box (same one in the video) was also fixed up to the best of my ability and honestly, looks fantastic! But almost 4 years later all three mechs are showing signs of distress so they will need repairing in the near future.
Version 2 I got as a Grad gift back in 2021 (peak year) along with a Marlins & Phillies. It was brand new but since the box was in nice shape and version 1 has a box, I gave it to one of my Twins versions since neither of those have a box. But the doll just needed a simple repair of all 3 mechs and after that and a little cleaning it works great to this day.
