Gymtimidation is mainly felt by beginners. I don't even notice people at the gym cus I'm too focused on myself but i think it's important for us regulars to notice/talk to beginners so that we break that barrier. There are human laws and there are unwritten moral laws.
That's what a lot of beginners think. To be honest, these big guys don't really care what you're doing or how much weight you're lifting. If you are lifting incorrectly, people might approach and tell you how to do it properly, just so you wouldn't end up hurting yourself. Personally, I like seeing new gym members join the gym I'm going to, lots of skinny guys looking to put some muscle on or bigger guys trying to trim the fat. As a gym rat, it's always a nice thing to see, seeing people try to better themselves.

i sometimes catch myself angrily staring at people, but in reality im just trying to not pass out or throw up 😂
