This is cool... Finally I am able to install Netflix on my Mi 4a TV with Chromecast inbuilt. Just that I can't find the app listed to add as under Favourites as the app is listed as a system app. After a few hours it gets listed as a normal external app but still not listed with other apps that can be added as Favourites. So I have click Settings - Apps - scroll down to See all Apps - scroll to the bottom & click See All Apps - scroll to apps starting with N and click on Netflix - then click Open. 1) How do I add it to favorites to be able to open up from home screen. 2) Also, why don't I get the cast icon even using this app to cast to Chromecast on my Mi 4A TV ... *just go to settings and click " about " option ,then click update device or something related to update option,it will take 800+mb for the software to get updated,after update go to playstore option and netflix will b there in movies section,download the app if u dont have or update the app if you had but was not working..open it and sign in or create netflix account and enjoy movies*

I installed File commander apk in my old 43 inch MITV , everytime I try to move or delete files in my usb in FC app , it shows ' Application has read on access to this folder on usb ' I can't find an option to allow access . Same happen in ES explorer app as well. It too ask for permission to delete or move files . But I can't give access. Can you try it say if it works in it MITV ?? Great effort, it actually does work. However, a couple of issues. 1. It seems to be a mobile version. 2. Resolution is not scaled up for a larger screen as a result. Don't see any viable solution other than adding a mi. Box to this supposedly smart tv
