It’s the same really. They were forced to put usb-C coz EU said they are not allowed to sell in Europe if they don’t and Apple act like they invented UsbC when they announced it. 😂😂
Except they did help invent USB C, they had a major role in the development of it, they were just trying to milk the lightning cable $ as long as they could

funny how apple emoji design as well, remained overall consistent over the years. while other companies such as microsoft, google, facebook constantly change how emoji's look.
I think I like milking a design as much as possible and making it better, while working on a radical design for years down the road. The little upgrades every year can make a difference down the road.

Good question. I think they will keep refining the iPhone 15 Pro for a couple of years before coming up with a new design. So you might not be wrong.
