Maybe I will look into getting yours instead. Love the block of wood idea. A tiny drop of liquid paper on top of those those veins can help you put it back (and you can flick it off with your fingernail before putting it back on). Torquing the bolts like a snare drum is a good way to ensure pressure is even across the gasket.

I didn’t see any other good videos on this so I thought it might be helpful to post some. Good idea on the liquid paper. I wonder if it would stick with all the oil? Worth a try. The kit I got is made of a different type of rubber and should hold up longer than the OEM rubber. That’s the thought anyway.
