    PROJECT SYNOPSIS
Our project originated from a dream to unite the beauty of the land and the healing power of the jingle dance during these uncertain times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The origin of the jingle dance to the Ojibwe people happened during the influenza pandemic of 1918-19. It came as a dream to a father whose daughter was sick with the virus. His dream revealed the new dress and dance that had the power to heal. When the dresses were made, they were given to four women to perform the dance. When the little girl heard the sound of the jingles, she became stronger. By the end of the night she was dancing too.
Our dream is to take this healing power to the land, to travel and capture a series of images to document the spiritual places where our ancestors once walked. Our goal is to unite and give hope to the world through art, dance and culture to help us heal together. We will travel the land and capture a series of powerful images to document spiritual places where our ancestors once walked. I hope you will join us on this spiritual journey, follow us on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK for project updates.

I needed this happy video after watching the news.
The ladies smiles and laughter are contagious so I always finish the video happy. Best wishes for more success in getting the word out about missing indigenous women and girls.😞💔

It's a mum thing. I may not be a Native American lady (or even American), but as a mum (and now and gran), you should have seen the size of my "hand" bag! I could carry pretty much anything I would even possibly need for 4 little ones, and still have room for my stuff lol.
One of the things I love about this channel is how it introduces me to a new culture yet is so familiar to me in many, _many_ ways!

I'm not a mum so far, but I work in construction. I never take my clutch out of wardrobe, I wear only travel bags and backpacks))) Uniform, gloves and shoes, a 1st aid kit, something for lunch, something sweet + tea for a big 3 o'clock tea, a steel mug, cutlery, a respirator (I have one at work, but just in case), wet napkings, shoe polish, cosmetics to look perfect after work... :))))

When you showed some of their pic's every hair on my body did a respectful salute. I was so touched by them, and I always go with my gut reactions first. Cheers too you ladies! 🇨🇦 Thanks for the mention of our lost children.

Selena still is alive in our hearts.
I was once celebrating my 21st birthday in town here in Cali. It was the first time going to clubs and it happened to also fall on Spanish fiesta days.
They played hip hop, pop, reggaeton, bachata, etc.. and suddenly Selena came on and everyone started singing …The DJ stopped the music and everyone kept singing their lungs out and it gave me chills. Felt like a concert. To have so many people from all races and cultures come together so hard for Selena was amazing to witness.
