Grew up on Long Island and listened to WCBS FM from the 70s 80s and early 90s, Live in North Carolina now for the last 26 years, If this Don K Reed Doo Wop show was available on Cds on ebay or anywhere online, I would buy them.
This is great stuff, isn't it? Almost the same experience, except NC 1979-97 (with many trips home to LI), then Georgia from 1997 til now. DKR and CBS-FM inspired me to do a 50s show on college radio and then a radio career for 15 years or so.
Mr. Cirello this is the second video of yours that I've been to. You're the only one I've come across who plays the entire song! I didn't really mind the fact that nobody played a song in its entirety because I could still get some good songs for my playlist. But with your channel, I can listen to songs I like without adding them to any list!! You're awesome!! 🎵
