The first gig I saw in my life.... I was just 16 years old and after 31 years I still remember every single detail. Rock In Rio Festival 1985 was the best one!
"Don't Break My Heart Again" I'm gonna take it to the limit of my love, Before I turn and walk away I've had enough of holding on The promises of yesterday Every day of my life, it seems, Trouble's knocking at my door, It's hard to try and satisfy When you don't know what you're fighting for Time and again I sing your song, But, I've been runnin' on empty far too long I've had enough holdin' on to the past, Make no mistake, it could be your last Don't break my heart again, like you did before Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore I never hide the feeling inside, And though I'm standing my back to the wall, I know that even in a summer love A little bit of rain must fall But, every road I take I know Where it's gonna lead me to, Because I've travelled every highway And they all keep coming back to you Time and again I sing your song, But, I've been runnin' on empty far too long I've had enough holdin' on to the past, Make no mistake, it could be your last Don't break my heart again, like you did before Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore Don't break my heart Don't break my heart again, like you did before Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore
Pre 80’ Whitesnake and post mid 80’ sounds and look like two complete different bands. I rather more the more melodic version of this song with Bernie Mardsen solo yet Sykes is a great guitarist anyhow; different styles
Neil Murray Whitesnake's definitive bass player..
El bajo suena bien chingon.

Cozy-monster drummer and I adore him)
I love that arpeggiated chord sequences that Sykes layers over the keyboards in the intro. Everything the dude touches is gold
Sykes wasnt only an amazing shredful and soulful guitarist but also a complete amazing rythm guitarist. He was full package
@@madden7732 Totally agree!
Same progression as the middle 8 of Still of The Night!!
If have cut off my left arm to have been there. Best Whitesnake line up,by far. RIP Cozy and Jon.
Sykes rocks 🔥🎸🤘
John Sykes - SUPER!
Fav lineup of Whitesnake

Whitesnake best performance!!!!!
Daaamn that solo !
👍🔥Love Whitesnake!!! 💕💕💕
Estiloso...lindo!
"Don't Break My Heart Again"
I'm gonna take it to the limit of my love,
Before I turn and walk away
I've had enough of holding on
The promises of yesterday
Every day of my life, it seems,
Trouble's knocking at my door,
It's hard to try and satisfy
When you don't know what you're fighting for
Time and again I sing your song,
But, I've been runnin' on empty far too long
I've had enough holdin' on to the past,
Make no mistake, it could be your last
Don't break my heart again, like you did before
Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore
I never hide the feeling inside,
And though I'm standing my back to the wall,
I know that even in a summer love
A little bit of rain must fall
But, every road I take I know
Where it's gonna lead me to,
Because I've travelled every highway
And they all keep coming back to you
Time and again I sing your song,
But, I've been runnin' on empty far too long
I've had enough holdin' on to the past,
Make no mistake, it could be your last
Don't break my heart again, like you did before
Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore
Don't break my heart
Don't break my heart again, like you did before
Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore
Thanks
1985 RIO 👍wouah 🙋♀️Don’t break my heart again 🔥Fans , yes 😘singing with David, wonderful😍💋
John Sykes was sensational.
Coverdale was so,so jealous & so threatened by his talent..Coverdale even dyed his hair the same colour as John Sykes!!
Actually the Geffen records wanted him to get blond streaks and a tan for MTV audience appeal. Bon Jovi look.
Fuckin' Cozy, man!!!
I love this😍 Sykelicious.
2:11 :)
Maconha carai kkkk
no bar do Abacaxi tbm tem umas figuras assim.
I was there!!
the album 1987 is blayed by this line up. john sykes is a freak. i prefer him for maiden than janick jers.
@@vosooghzardoshtian2785 I love Janick, but Sykes there would be incredible...
Vi ese concierto. Los brasileños se enamoraron de ellos.
fucking class
Eu tava ai...
Talking about only this song, studio version is the best and most bluesy!
For the most part I like this version of the song. The only problem is that the tempo seems a bit too fast. The whole track seems a bit rushed.
fucking dandy performance
cozy
Bit of a transition but still a great lineup.
Como destrozar la canción original.
John Sykes ruined the song with that shredding. The melodic bluesy solo of Bernie Mardsen fits way better in the song.
The original version is better, by far
This is too fast and without the feeling of the original.
Whaaaaaaaat?
That’s the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. If you think that’s shredding, you don’t understand anything
They were trying to sound more hard rock
