I really hope that Sunday is a Nihility character. We have so many harmony characters now and I think it would fit well with his theme and be a good counter part to Robin. Robin is the soul soothing angel and Sunday is the awe inspiring seraphim
It could be that sunday replaces harmony Trailblazer and be the better Version of him AS a actual 5 Star Superbreak character. Harmony Trailblazer needs ruan Mei to be complete. Maybe sunday doesnt need a Second harmony character Like ruan Mei.
@@mcutv959 buuuuut that would make TBH and Ruan Mei useless and I don’t want that, so I hope not I don’t like it when characters become obsolete SilverWolf is the perfect example.…earlier leaks showed that he had an ability to make allies with single target atk deal blast dmg but ofc now it’s unknown.
@@kingranger9515 i would be Happy that you only need 1 harmony character in your Team instead of 2. Because that opens you more opportunities for Team building. You can put your ruan Mei in a other Team. She will be never useless but harmony Trailblazer is incomplete without her.
I wish Sunday was Ice/Nihility, except his skill would be similar to the “Brain in a Vat” buff you get in Divergent Universe. (Brain in a Vat buff instantly regenerates 100 energy for your entire team once it reaches 85-100. If you have 200 Brain in a Vat, you can quite literally use your ultimate four times in a row.)
@@Arbitrator-l4r I could actually see this working, have his skill give some general debuffs to the enemy team but it would cost 2-3 skill points and would charge a “brain in a vat” effect by 25% forcing the player to “lay low” until the big finale.
It would also reference his boss fight which itself references the 7 days it took god to create the earth before Sunday does his big attack!
I really don't want him as an Imaginary Harmony. Half of the 5* men are imaginary and I need other elements, and I'm not feeling harmony path for him but I'd take that over imaginary.
But I'll wait until he's officially announced

I'm fine with him being imaginary. But I'm just tired of harmony characters. Don't get me wrong I love all the harmony characters we got and I have every one of them. We just don't need another harmony character.

-used to be 5* Pela meant for all over just Acheron
-beta kind of nerfed him with changing def shred to vuln which made him more for Acheron mostly (but still alright kit)
-then they completely killed even that and made the shittiest limited 5* kit this game ever had
-now he is 5* Guinaifen that isn't even that better and overall not that desirable to any team comp without feeling like needless luxury unit
Basically they turned him into a weird DoT unit now that nobody asked for or needed. He is now more for Kafka than Acheron in mind, except Kafka couldn't care less about his vuln, while Acheron couldn't care less for anything that isn't just more stacks for it (but you may as well slap BS+Kafka in her team if this is all you care for). The worst part is that he isn't even good as said DoT unit. They nerfed his DPS to the ground. Now he's like Swan that does no damage for his team. What is even more funny is that rumors are saying that Black Swan is rerunning with him. This is funny because Black Swan basically does similar type of crap, except she is good at it, because unlike him, she was made with DoT in mind over put in that role out of nowhere.
One could argue that he is "good" RM replacement in 3rd slot for DoT team, but... just put Robin instead. Not only is she a good replacement for RM in DoT team, but good for your overall account in general. Even if you lack Robin, then just put 3rd DoT unit like Guinaifen instead because whatever he offers you over her is really not worth potential 180 pulls. His cone ironically now has more value for DoT units like Swan than him. What is funny about the cone thing is that previously Pela could've used it better than him, but now since he is locked to DoT... Swan is the one that can use it better than him. That's how bad it is.
At this point just pull him if you like his character, but kit-wise... It's very bad.

Weird seing Sunday as a Harmony character, knowing that he strayed from the path lol.
Let Sunday be the first Order character. And as a new path, his path gimmick should be he uses a hybridization of multiple paths since he pretended to be harmony and his Aeon was eaten and assimilated by another's. Plus, he literally merged with a stellaron, so definitely, the order gimmick should be to hybridize other paths abilities.

@kenjiro8629 why not? Didn't they post launch add new paths to both the trailblazer and the simulated universe? So why couldn't they add one to the overall character roster? Also, I'm pretty sure Sunday himself admitted he ACTUALLY follows The Order as his path. So why would he be released in the game as a harmony character?
@@thunderclapzsolt1735 Because he's the Trailblazer? He's supposed to learn the current existing paths. And there are only 8. Planet by planet he'll learn of another one. Paths like Propagation are just there as additional blessing paths. Not meant to be for playables.
Because if there were other playable paths, they would have released at least 1 character per path at the start of the patch. To help us better understand how a path works.

Also lore doesn’t equate to path for a character because the paths in the character screens are equivalent to classes… it describes the playstyle… also, Order was assimilated by Harmony, Sunday and Robin are two sides of the same coin… Sunday even said that through Harmony we obtain Oder… they are too similar in concept and ultimately all the main RPG archetypes are fulfilled… the buffers, debuffers, AoE units, Single target units, healers, shielders… there is no need for a new path because pretty much everything is already done

DPSes (especially the male ones) get powercrept too fast in HSR.
I mean E2 DHIL is still one of the strongest units in the game and we haven't had a lot of limited male dps' , Ratio is still great in RRAT and Boothill is one of the currently strongest dps behind probably acheron, being Imo way better than Firefly as a Unit. Even Argenti got better with time and still hard carries PF. ( i know a lot of people aren't a fan of units that work mainly only in PF but if we think about it we pull units for MoC/ maybe AS anyways. And for overworld every unit is good even Herta so it's not really a good argument Imo. Alot of "powercreep" is just enemy lineup/ current blessing related, even Seele is still one of the better units if played properly. Rn Firefly feels so strong because most of the newer enemies favor break or straight up just made for her like the Choir boss quite literally tripling her damage . She just performs Okay against most older bosses right ? I'm still using my Seele to clear almost every content and she is a completely F2p friendly one. I think a lot of it is due to perspective and not actual power if that makes sense. So don't be scared to pull for him even if he isn't harmony !

As someone who wasn’t interested in Sunday before, this info makes me WAY more interested. The design overhaul is very much so needed and sounds way more attractive plus harmony is so overpowered as a path so he’s probably a must pull for me now

He is Erudition not Harmony.
Not ironic at all, Order literally got assimilated by Harmony in lore. If they weren’t so similar at core the assimilation wouldn’t have happened at all

Just realized that sunday wings are tucked in his vest.
I doubt Sunday would be a Harmony path but let's be real Robin is Physical and a Harmony Path which makes sense and does fit for her as a playable character since she was a supporter NPC in the story before her banner even if we did use her in the story before a banner that has her but she still is an NPC cuz literally all playable characters do show up as NPCs in parts of the story arcs so they're both NPCs and Playable anyway Robin's path and type makes sense due to the whole thing so if Sunday becomes playable honestly I'd say he'll be the opposite of what Robin is as a playable character so I'd say his path would be Destruction and his type being Dot I mean it just seems like Robin's exact whole opposite and kinda does fit to be an opposite of what Robin is as a playable character plus honestly we don't actually have a Dot type Male playable character yet and honestly Dot and Destruction Path actually does fit Sunday Perfectly and Order was treated as both Destruction and Death and Betrayal all by Sunday's arc so yeah Destruction Path which is the opposite of Harmony Path plus Imaginary is the Harmony Trailblazer's type so it's unlikely that it would work for Sunday so Dot probably would be cool cuz honestly we need a Male Dot type Playable character also I do see him as an all attacking character rather than a supporter but in all of his attacks I can see them getting buffs so yup
I wont get too hyped for sunday until we know what kind of support he actually is. dot, crit, break, fua or whatever.

Okay let me tell you about Liangmu in V2.8:
Liangmu is a 5* Wind Character which follows the Path of Erudition or Nihility. After Bailu's Story Event, Liangmu was infected by Mara-Struck. He has a Blade Weapon on his left hand. Then later on, he will get Revenge on Banxia who died after the Soul Soothing Ceremony.
I wanted him to be a dps (((...he could be really useful tho.
I can't believe the lore dropped we may receive so apparently there were aeon of beauty before idrila and she apparently killed the previous one because she is evil aeon and with the help of enigmatic no one knows about the previous aeon of beauty the previous aeon have change to be playable rumors are saying 😆 and she is seeking for revenge it makes so much sense with argenti being here what are the reason for him to be here but maybe he don't know anything yet it's getting interesting 🤩

Question! I recently used my saves to get the sunday lc and ended up getting s2 argenti lc. If version 2.7 will feature sunday will I somehow still be able to get him and his lc as a f2p player-?
Depends on how much jades you currently have & how much you are willing to grind. If you manage to win the 50/50 on Sunday then you have a good chance of getting his light cone as well.

More Harmony is always good, My Ruan Mei is basically bolted on to my Firefly team and you need at least 2 teams for the end game content but here's hoping Sunday's kit is more specialized like Harmony Trailblazer

I don’t get the argument of “too much harmony”?.. the dude is releasing in 2.7… I’m pretty sure we’re not getting another harmony until he releases which means it would have been 2.2 with Robin being the last harmony which is 5 patches… these people need to actually imagine time passing because it would make sense IF he was releasing now… but 2.7 is December… half a god damn year, yet there are people absolutely pleading for nihility
It makes no damn sense what they’re arguing for because it undermines itself… they typically release paths in cycles… 2.7 is just when new harmonies release because every other path is getting a new character

Sunday shouldn’t be a Harmony character, he should be an Order character.
Or rather he should be a Nihility character with a follow up attack that puts enemies in jail if they attack the party.
Sure he is a pessimist… but he follows Order which is closest to Harmony… that’s the entire reason order was assimilated… his perspective is based off wanting harmony, being pessimistic isn’t opposed to that it’s just the basis of his perspective… if you want his path to actually be in line with lore then the only released path would be harmony
Robin and Sunday are used to represent both sides of the same coin of bringing about paradise to humanity…

I don't believe that Sunday is playable. It's just an issue. because every character in HSR is always from the newest planet. In the next version onwards the HSR character will come from Xianzhou Zhuming. Sunday is Penacony. Penacony has reached the end. So I don't think Sunday will be playable because it has nothing to do with Xianzhou Zhuming.
His 4* lightcone is literally was added in the new patch. He is Erudition character.

Kafka was released in Xianzhou even if she was first introduced in Herta space station
@@omnaaa because Kafka is included in the Xianzhou story and has something to do with Xianzhou. he served a purpose in xianzhou. while Sunday has nothing to do with Xianzhou. every playable character must be involved in the story. So it's certain that Sunday won't be playable when Xianzhou Zhuming is released. Sunday will not be playable because it will not appear throughout the Xianzhou story. And playables must have proof. Like a leaks kit. Sunday has no leaks kit until now. For now Sunday Playable is just theory. because it doesn't have strong evidence. Penacony's story is over. he won't be playable. In the next version, limited characters related to Xianzhou Zhuming will be playable. I'll bet

Don’t know why you guys are so confident in him not being playable when he literally has a livestream chibi of himself, 2 4* lightcones that feature him, multiple voicelines form other playable characters (Aventurine and boothill aren’t even close to him yet they talk about him) and I could go on and on
