I'd love to drink some beers and smoke some weed with Scott. dude is a gem of information. I love the products from Nectar too. Keep on growing the dank!
Now i'm using a compost (super soil) and noticed that it works grate but I think I need a little boost to get more weight on my plants. The quality is there just not the weight. I'm also only putting maybe 1/4 to 1/3 compost at the bottom of my growing container and the rest is just base soil so by the time its getting close to harvest the top part of my soil is all out of nutrients but the bottom part of my container is still full of nutrients. Can I still use this line up or maybe some of it to enrich the base soil on top?
Bruce, with Nectar's complete line, a quality medium and a sound environment there is no need for traditional Silica products (in our opinion). The result is an overall healthy resilient plant that naturally resists disease and builds stronger, thicker stalks to aid in support. With that said, some of our customers still feel the need to "play it safe" and adding an additional silica product wont harm the line or nutrient availability. Thanks for stopping by Bruce!
