i was on the fence with this one, but it's a little too big for me to EDC. 3-3.25 inch blade is perfect for me. Looking forward to see their next design. Happy to see Kunwu is doing doing OEM work.
Cool looking knaf! Reminds me of the Sparrow Strix and the Renegade provisions GOM, both of which I love. Have you checked out the Bestech Syn in Elmax, deep hollow grind, reverse tanto wharncliffe, cf overlay, bolster lock, with slotted hole opening? It's another similar design that no one talks about. Blade HQ has the GOM on sale for $254 marked down from $365 FYI.
Hi Kevin. Great review as always. I have a view about these sort of knives. It may be slightly controversial, and i may be totally wrong, in my opinion, but here goes! Are we saying that if you can draw, cad design a knife etc. And have the money for a Chinese oem to help you realise and make your knife, that there is any skill or act of actually making something? If we take that a yes, then surely anyone with the cash can have a knife made? I don't see any skill involved in that. Justy opinion. All the best David.
Well yeah it’s definitely much easier to get a knife made if you’ve got the money. But you still gotta tell them what to make and it has to be a good design that people like. It’s pretty hard. Sit down and try to sketch out some knife designs, it’s super difficult haha
Since they're both bigger knives with similar deployment options and manufactured by kunwu... I'm curious as to how the action and detent compares to the padre?
Kevin, thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to check it out and sharing it with your channel.
Of course man!
I gotta try to talk you into doing an Ire Mini 😉
@@doodysdaggersyes, this would be amazing. If we could get a 7-7.25” version. I love smediums!
What steel is it, how much is it going to be and when does it drop 🤔?????
Is the choir going to be bigger and lanyard hole removed and all the other changes he mentioned? That was holding me back…
@@bobbymoreira Yep! The finger choil will be bigger and the lanyard hole will be removed.
Kunwuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I agree a smaller version would make me jump harder for it but it's a great looking knife.
Yup that’s a winner. Pretty damn pretty
With Kunwu being the OE the quality is going to be really good 👍

Dang Dood that looks like a sweet knife!
That is so SICK!!!!!!
I really like the looks on that one.
This is Fantastic. With the improvements, it'll be out of this world. Thanks
Thanks for the share, Doody. Looks like a smaller Gungnir with a finger choil and a small poon. Luv the Gungnir ... Cool.
Nice looking knife. Thanks for sharing a look with us.
Love it...I could do without the studs though...
nothing boring about this one

I haven’t but it looks super rad
Just catching up on this. It’s sick! Really like the modified blade shape. Sheep-Poon 😂
Made by Kunwu? Yea. Gotta grab one of these
I also wanted to pre-order, but as it turned out there is no international shipping option on the website.😔
Bummer!!
Ok...i just pre-ordered the DLC verson, OEM is Kunwu in 20cv and HRC is 61-62...I just had to !
Thank you so much!
Yeah man if Blade Show wasn’t in a few days I would too
Onetrackmind_co, if this knife is what I think it's going to be...I hope you sell out !
Doody, I totally get it bud !
Please tell me that they are going to be numbered 😢

Padres action felt better. But remember this is just a prototype
