+Reet Chakraborty Word. I love Indian people and I love this too. Black American music has always been progressively progressive and so is the Indian film industry.
Little surprised no one put up the track names, first one's Freeze, 0:21 Movie Finale, 0:34 Dancing Girls Theme, 0:57 Fifth Chant, last song's called Variations. Thumbs up so people don't waste time asking same question
This is why I love madlib. This guy can flip ANY sample and make something mind blowing out of it. Having heard some of the original sample sources of his stuff, It blows my mind what he does with so little to work with in some instances. Beat Konducta 5-6 was legendary, glad I got it on vinyl :)
@@ehmazin thanks! i love that you quickly responded on a decade old comment. You're the best. Weirdly a similar thing happened with an 8 year old comment just earlier tonight! That snippet was going to nag at me endlessly, lately i keep half remembering things and i can't remember the whole thing. It sucks. i owe you one! Cheers! 🍻 PS that's the one with Slick Rick the ruler, i do believe. i can't forget that now i know the title.
One of the best pieces of work from madlib I wasn’t ready for this album years ago when I first saw it madlibs love and appreciation for Indian music really shows
i love how a lot of Madlib's tunes have that indian vibe. i like it...and to have the cd IN India thats sick...sounds like it has REAL good beats so far.this video is the BEST advertisment ive ever seen for a cd. God i love this video! lol
It's 4:24am. I often like to listen to whole albums before I go to bed and I just got done listening to this album for the first time. And although I'm tired, I had to go over to my computer and pay my respects to this album in some form. It is simply amazing. I'm a pretty bad dancer but immediately upon hearing this album I sent a text a good friend who's an excellent dancer and told her we needed to choreograph a dance to some/most/if not all of these songs. Can't wait to get started.
This is wicked, Madlib's the man. He's the only one that can deal with the Indian breaks. I'm gonna have to pull out my old records to listen to some golden oldies.
haha the movie's name is "Athisaya Piravi" and the beats attached to this do not belong to this movie.. this is Tamil movie and except the first song, rest all are Hindi songs :D
better than dilla? that's tough man. jay was on the charts in the 90s with erykah, common, busta, d'angelo, tribe ANNND de la soul.. and he still greatly influenced hip hop in the next decade, even though he died half-way through. they both got it, man.
i watch this too many times. i LOVE every beat that i just NEED THEM!!!plus some parts of this make me laugh and smile so much!!! i think i end up watching this video every day in past week. its addictive somehow like all of Madlib's.
@tysonic777 I've realised on a re-listen that I missed two. When the woman says silly brother 0:15 - 0:19 the song is Masala and when the bloke in yellow is talking to Tamil Ron Jeremy 01:07 - 01:11 I think the song is Indian Deli
DAMN, this has gotten ALOT of comments since i 1st watched it. holy crap. Madlib is what this world needs...almost as much as we need a new source of energy instead of killing ourselves.
haha.. that second to last lil scene there is hilarious.. Cant wait to here this, was about to pick it up the other day.. but next time I def am. If theres one thing I love, its madlib beats.
my Punjabi peoples heard me blasting beat konducta in India the other day and said hey what's that!? they got hooked.
hell yea real shit
haaaaaaanji
I read this comment every time i come back to this video and smile this is probably my 29th time here
As an Indian myself all I can say is Genius and I've watched this one hundred times over the course of 6 years

Word - I've been listening to this one for five years now; couple six times a year.

Check the album out, madlib beat konducta in India. These songs are on it
Little surprised no one put up the track names, first one's Freeze, 0:21 Movie Finale, 0:34 Dancing Girls Theme, 0:57 Fifth Chant, last song's called Variations. Thumbs up so people don't waste time asking same question
