I was doing my first ever run of true vault hunter mode and had just arrived at the bloodshot keep, I was basically speed running through the area and all of a sudden, I see this fat tub of lard jump up on my platform and begin to shank me. I could not stop laughing for at least a 20 minutes XD

+rinalds senvalds you have to unlock them I believe in true vault hunter mode after you beat normal mode. to get ultimate vault hunter mode . I believe you need the dlc where you get to reach level 72 and op levels. so yes you need dlc.
by saying that i played through first 2 playthrough i meant that i have finished normal and true vault hunter mode and i have some of the most important dlc's (tiny tina, both vault hunter upgrade packs, torgue campaign) but i was wondering if the yare from a dlc that i dont have
The Warrior is this special kind of enemy, a BOSS enemy. He tends to drop Pearls and legendarys pretty often. Which happens even more now that they increased legendary drop rates...
William Morse i've beat him 4 times legitimately and countless times when i tried to farm legendaries off him, he only dropped one legendary when i beat him with a friend i think a chubby invincible would be cool
I've only encountered one chubby midget, in Fink's Circle of Slaughter. There are a couple waves spread out among all 5 rounds that are entirely devoted to psychos/midgets, so if one is really deadset on seeing one ,that seems like a prime location to do so.
i love farming the arid nexus badlands. ive had runs where ive literally gotten 2 in the same run. tubbies spawn so frequently for me i basically get one every run with few exceptions.
Damn it... ...So I watch up until he says that the Tubby Spiderants are the most common ones. Then I remember how many times I've gotten those to spawn. Right after that, he says they're super easy to find in Hallowed Hollow. I then remembered how I got one my first time going through that DLC. I go there again, I get one my first try... ...This channel is magic!
Tubby spiderants are so cute, I got a bonus bunny from one at frostburn canyon and later I found a legendary loot midget there too but he didn't drop anything.

The wildlife preservation is the best because its filled with so many animals (Includes skags and stalkers) that can be tubbies, also you can farm pimon, tumba, the son of mothrakk, and the legendary lootmidgets for legendaries as well.

I don't know if it's just confirmation bias, but I seem to get more tubbies from secondary spawns that come after clearing initial mobs like at the end of the dust for example. After clearing out all the bandits where the black queen spawns I'm pretty sure it's set to spawn at least one badass level spiderant after clearing out the first waves which basically gives you a free roll to spawn one. Same story at three horns valley near where doc mercy spawns. Although it's faster to just save and quit and reload if you don't see a tubby skag, I always seem to have much more success quickly taking out the initial skags to force the secondary spawn. Hope this helps.
holy crap. in the dlc of tourges carnage, there was this one mission where u either save or kill rakks(something like that idk) Anyways, all the rakks i killed were chubbys but really didnt drop anything good. i am now going to this again, but in UVHM
The tubbies in this quest have a very low chance to drop anything because those rakk are unique to the quest. Yes, the drop rate is really low, even on UVHM.
Wow this is late, anyway I found that the area in front of the fast travel station in Three Horns Valley has a spawning spot right there. I've gotten a few rubies from there, after killing off about 6-7 skags I reset
I think the best place for tubby/chubby rakks is in the torgue DLC, when you have to fight motor momma, just before you go into the place before fighting her there a little place to the left where only rakks spawn. I've had some great luck with chubbies spawning in there.
Did like 10 runs behind Ellie's garage on my Mechro and found 4 tubbies so far. I am currently enjoying my four Cracked Sashes. But it might've been cool if I got a mechro class mod.
Chubbies in nvhm and tvhm don’t drop great loot, I have gotten multiple chubbies in the annex etc. the tubbies in uvhm are where it’s at (but I just got to uvhm for the first time so I can’t farm them yet lol)
I recently levelled a Gunzerker from 61 to 72 by farming rabid skags in Three Horns - Divide. Start at the door with the Catch-A-ride, kill the 4 skags there, run forward and kill all the skags under the Doc Mercy platform. Rinse, repeat. Saw about 30 tubbies in that time. Got 15-20 class mods, including exactly the one I needed for my build, and several Cracked Sashes. Took about 45min to 1hr per level. Required going back to Savage Lee twice and upgrading Unkempt Harold at 64 and 68.
Hunting those chubby make me feel like playing pokemon game, a different thing is i shoot the hell out of them instead of catching them. good work Broco
You'll have better luck with the varkids than the spiderants they take a while for one to pop up but the varkids have a good chance to pod up and turn into a tubby/chubby

I'm excited to start UVHM, I literally just beat TVHM this evening. And up until this point, I haven't ONCE seen a "chubby" in the game, and I've farmed for legendaries very, very heavily. So, of course I'm led to believe all the chubby's and tubby's will be in UVHM... maybe I overlooked them in TVHM, but I don't see how.. Thx for the informative video.,
Just adding to the list, I found a chubby Rakk in the Southern Raceway, connected to the Badass Crater of Badassitude. I found it right where you do the quest to kill gas-guzzling rakks from Sir Hammerlock.

I've only encountered Two chubbies, one in Normal in Caustic Caverns and one in Eridium Blight. Caustic Caverns was a Varkid and a Rakk in E.B. Only Two! Oh well. Thanks on the info about Three Horns Valley's Chubby skags...or Tubby.
the only thing I hate about starting in a harder mode is that you have to go through the story again after each time I don't understand why you cant just up the mode and continue on the map you already have
If you've got Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, the mission "Gas Guzzlers" where you have to kill some slagged rakks very often if not 100% of the time spawned a chubby rakk for me when I did it. You won't get any decent loot out of it because it's auto-coded to be chubby no matter what, but it'll get you the achievement for Platinum or 1000/1000 gamerscore.
Another spot to farm Chubbies and Tubbies is at Northern Racetrack (Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage), at the area where you do the mission Gas Guzzlers. Multiple normals and Chubbies spawn there, and they come in a big group. However, I don't know if they respawn, should do.
Incidentally, my friend and I had some success in Dragon's Keep. You know that altar where you can offer items? We kept offering items, and on one particular run, we got two Tubbies to appear when the guy you offer items to sent us chumps. I don't know if that's a great farming place, or we just got lucky, but at least it's sort of double farming: you're farming the altar, and you get Tubbies, too.
mrmacross They don't spawn as often from the alter, but they do on occasion. That was a pretty sweet score getting 2 in one farming run!!! I love farming the alter and it's a great way to get XP points instead of just selling some crap items. The best things are two in one runs, alter & tubbies! :D
Ive gotten probably 1000 spiderants and skags to spawn between badlands and ellies, and NOT ONE has been a tubby. Do you have to actually fight them or what? Ive been speed running through each map dozens of times with mayas speed perk but no luck
Ok this was weird but cool. In Frostburn Canyon, I found Two Tubbies in One Run and they Both dropped the Bunny RPG. They were Both level 59. Hours later Two More Tubbies spawned and they BOTH dropped the Bunny(60 and 61). In one day I got 4 Bunnies. Like before, I wasn't getting anything from them, now four Bunnies in a row. But yeah Spiderants ARE the easiest to find. Peace.
I have been trying for about an hour and a half in Bug Gulch, and not a single Tubby (However I did get the derp Nukem). So I figure I will farm the Loot Midgets and the first thing I find is a Tubby Stalker which gives me the Whisky Tango Foxtrot. Then after farming the midgets twice I get the Baby Maker and Thunderball Fists. And on my third run I come across Pimon and Tumbaa who drop The Transformer and the Deliverance. So I would say the the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve is pretty good too, plus you can farm the Son of Mothrakk.

I managed to find a chubby midget during Bricks mission where you need to steal the explosives atop the elevator. this was on true vault hunter mode and it dropped the bunny rocket launcher. Never seen another one since.
My third Tubby was a Skag in the Three Horns Valley and finally a Bunny. Too bad it was level 48. That was the Only time I got something good that wasn't a Skin for Other Classes. Also I've encountered more Chubbies/Tubbies in the past three weeks than in the last 8 months.

ChrisLogou You can get Chubbies but they are not very common in Normal and True Vault Hunter Mode. They spawn the most in UVHM.

I prefer hallowed hollow because in the colony a bunch of elemental spiderants spawn. Each elemental spiderant had a chance to be a tuby. :)

Through all my time of playing this game I have NEVER EVER seen one of these, but I want to farm them SO badly, especially for that trophy.
If you've got Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, the mission "Gas Guzzlers" where you have to kill some slagged rakks very often if not 100% of the time spawned a chubby rakk for me when I did it. You won't get any decent loot out of it because it's auto-coded to be chubby no matter what, but it'll get you the achievement for Platinum or 1000/1000 gamerscore.

They spawn the most for me at Three Horns - Valley. It's really easy to do a sweep of the area in a vehicle.
Another spot to farm Chubbies and Tubbies is at Northern Racetrack (Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage), at the area where you do the mission Gas Guzzlers. Multiple normals and Chubbies spawn there, and they come in a big group. However, I don't know if they respawn, should do.
I've found them mostly in the Arid Nexus, forgot the name but it's the place where you fight Saturn

Incidentally, my friend and I had some success in Dragon's Keep. You know that altar where you can offer items? We kept offering items, and on one particular run, we got two Tubbies to appear when the guy you offer items to sent us chumps. I don't know if that's a great farming place, or we just got lucky, but at least it's sort of double farming: you're farming the altar, and you get Tubbies, too.
mrmacross They don't spawn as often from the alter, but they do on occasion. That was a pretty sweet score getting 2 in one farming run!!! I love farming the alter and it's a great way to get XP points instead of just selling some crap items. The best things are two in one runs, alter & tubbies! :D
Ive gotten probably 1000 spiderants and skags to spawn between badlands and ellies, and NOT ONE has been a tubby. Do you have to actually fight them or what? Ive been speed running through each map dozens of times with mayas speed perk but no luck
The tubby rakk looks hilarious
You can get some pretty common tubby spiderants by retrying round 1 of Creature Slaughter. Its not guaranteed to get one, but its pretty often
badass rounds yield much more as tubbies spawn by replacing a badass that would have spawned

i found that if u do the first round of the bandit slaughter dome, you have a chance of getting a tubby psycho. i know i got one riding a golaith

I've heard that the best place possible to find tubby midgets is in the bandit arena, wave 4 I think before the goliaths.

Ok this was weird but cool. In Frostburn Canyon, I found Two Tubbies in One Run and they Both dropped the Bunny RPG. They were Both level 59. Hours later Two More Tubbies spawned and they BOTH dropped the Bunny(60 and 61). In one day I got 4 Bunnies. Like before, I wasn't getting anything from them, now four Bunnies in a row. But yeah Spiderants ARE the easiest to find. Peace.
I got a whisky tango foxtrot earlier from a tubby in WEP, it was 2 of em but I don't remember what the other one spewed out

I have been trying for about an hour and a half in Bug Gulch, and not a single Tubby (However I did get the derp Nukem). So I figure I will farm the Loot Midgets and the first thing I find is a Tubby Stalker which gives me the Whisky Tango Foxtrot. Then after farming the midgets twice I get the Baby Maker and Thunderball Fists. And on my third run I come across Pimon and Tumbaa who drop The Transformer and the Deliverance. So I would say the the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve is pretty good too, plus you can farm the Son of Mothrakk.
I got my first tubby while hunting the firehawk in uvhm sadly he didn't drop anything but it was a fun experience they look so derpy

You can get a good amount of chubbies and tubbies in the Mr.Torque's DLC, during the Rakk-Oil Mission, in that area.
+Night Magnus those are quest monsters. they wont drop anything other than quest item

I managed to find a chubby midget during Bricks mission where you need to steal the explosives atop the elevator. this was on true vault hunter mode and it dropped the bunny rocket launcher. Never seen another one since.
same happened to me today but it droped a legendary mechromancer classmod!
You can get Chubby Rakks in Torgue's DLC in the area where you do a side quest for Scooter and Zed. Guaranteed spawn there.
My third Tubby was a Skag in the Three Horns Valley and finally a Bunny. Too bad it was level 48. That was the Only time I got something good that wasn't a Skin for Other Classes. Also I've encountered more Chubbies/Tubbies in the past three weeks than in the last 8 months.
My first Chubby was a Rakk at Lv28.. I was pretty confused about that thing.
I've had a lot of look for tubby rakks in eridium blight (the King mong spawn point closest to where you spawn in)
there's that one spot in the torgue dlc that always spawns a tubby or badass rakk. normally tubby though.
but they drop nothign though
