Bugs Bunny was a total jerk in this and the cartoon that preceded it, "Porky's Hare Hunt". I love the ending where the bigger dog clocks him in the face and gives him a black eye. Another great WB cartoon where Bugs gets owned is "Falling Hare" from 1943. It's just hilarious with how the Gremlin dude gives him a taste of his own medicine in that one.
