I am from Montenegro, and I lived in Washington DC for a couple of years, and I absolutely fell in love with the US. I am hoping to go back to the US in the near future❤️🇺🇸
It probably would be, to be honest. Everyone is too scared to actually commit the nuclear taboo - while one side or the other has a _chance_ at winning in a conventional war, there are *no winners* in a nuclear war - EVERYONE loses in that scenario. It would likely look like the current war in Ukraine, but on steroids.
The name YANKEES🧡 started because of the many dutch🇳🇱 immigrants living in new york (because they founded the city) and a lot of dutch peeps had the surnames, jan and kees, so in english it sounded something like "oh you, Yankees" as an insult, but they took it with pride. and thats a brief history of the Name Yankees, for new yorkers (and sometimes northeners)
we had a small book of marches in highschool band and played this melody and many other American airs we all recognize ...what a terrific, bracing performance of this inspiring number by choir and musique!...be well, America!
