How has the 3M tape held up? Has the engine worn through the tape into the metal charge pipe tubing?
Not melted, seems to be doing ok but have to change it every once in awhile since it drys out.
Awesome video, about to do the same thing too mine, ima get the pipe to, gonna have it off anyway so why now throw more money at it 😆

Do you know the length of the new bolts? Are they similar to the old ones? I bought mine used and I didn't get them so Im wondering if I can just reuse the old ones.

No worries! Maybe just get a few sizes from a local parts store and return the ones that don't work.
@@IceBoxAlex Did you ever find out which bolt size you needed? In the same situation.
@@chongphengvang8738 unfortunate no. I put my oem bolts into a vice and filled down their lip a little bit. It's still a tight fit with the hose clamp but it works!

When you put that new adapter on the turbo for the charge pipe, did it come with a gasket??
Has anyone had an issue with there wrx dropping to 500 rpm’s when applying brake ?
Having that issue now. Did you figure it out.
Did the aluminum inlet that G-S provided came with a gasket?
Curious what those torque specs are? I’m doing this install very soon but I don’t see them in the description??

Did you need to tune it for this part
Charge pipe doesn't require a tune. Just replacing plastic with metal and rubber. Intercooler and intake do require tunes.

I do not believe so for the charge pipe. I would check with Grimmspeed to be sure tho.

Make sure your couplers are properly seated. Follow the steps exactly as we did. His has not come off once
