PA has so many seasons so much hunting pressure it's really difficult. With antler restrictions PA does have some really big deer if you do your work. Just a shame the game commission issues so many doe tags. All the CWD talk is just insurance company propaganda. In most areas it's going back to the early 2000s days when you are lucky to see 1 deer.

The PGC sells to many doe licenses. the public land gets hammered . plus the Dmap tags . Now sell D map tags for game lands so out of state hunters can get doe tags for 2-G which sells out in 2 days.

Agreed they need to have public land and private land tags. Because the public land is over hunted . At least the state forest I hunt is.

Pennsylvania in the 1970's, 1980's and until recently, was a pressure cooker.

have hunted PA since I was 12 off and on. unfortunately the area that we hunt has seen a big decline in deer population.
