We needed to bring in 4 players at mimimum in this window and what did we get - our chairman and technical director humiliating themselves scambling round with hours to go desperate to get a signing - any signing - over the line. The two players we did manage to bring in look ok - tho we need to see how they get on in premier lge before judging them. But guess what - levy and lange will be doing exactly the same mad scrambling act on the last day of the window in august.

I think the tel signing helps while Solanke is out. When Solanke comes back I think tel still helps if he plays on the right. He has attributes that Johnson doesn’t have (1v1 ability) but still offers the back post finishing that Johnson has relied on to be relevant. As for play time I think we have to look at who he is competing with. Kane who is the greatest finisher to ever to come out of our club. No one would displace him in that Bayern side. I agree with Savva on the fact that we needed a more experienced finished product and Guehi should have been a early window push if we think he’s the answer.

Just seen someone on Reddit saying Tel is and I quote 'He's one of the most promising young players in the world at the moment'. Another one.... 'Quick powerful forward, he's a Benzema regen'. Why do we do this? I have a new serious hatred for social media at the moment.

There's no way now that Newcastle or Villa players will see a move to spurs as a step up if anything it would be a sideways move or backwards some spurs fans need to get a reality check in who they think will join spurs

Don't worry, Tel, VDV, and Danso will all be injured again in the coming weeks so things will be back to square one.
