Here's a look at how to troubleshoot a Mechanism Representation that was created using engineering connections. Just because an assembly was put together with engineering connections doesn’t mean they were done with a Kinematic simulation in mind. So, when someone tries to use those engineering connections to create joints, problems can occur.

Thank you for the trouble shooting tutorial. I am confident there are many improvements over the old "DMU Kinematics" workbench in Catia v5. However, this is at the cost of a steep learning curve for the new offering. Rand 3D has developed tutorials for some very basic (simpler) mechanisms and that is great. Need some more please.
