Using a Hall Effect Sensor (49E) and an analog to digital converter chip (MCP3008) and an RD3-compatible propane gauge, you can remotely monitor the propane level. There are commercial solutions which do this, but they're costly and often come with a subscription plan.
WARNING: Any kind of electricity near combustion is dangerous. Adhere to local codes. Seal connections extremely well. You assume all risks; void where prohibited, etc.
