Always gives me a chuckle when I hear "I've played for X years". I was an eight year vet when you began playing. Not many of us 03ers left. Chances are we've flown together at some point, or at least shot each other.
As someone who actually fought at B-R, I loved that you talked about this, this was back when caps were all the rage, I was one of the many dreads that were lost in those 20 odd hours. I flew a Naglfar.
The Capsuleer Graveyard is very affecting. I'm glad to know it exists as I remember many years ago there was some fracas about CCP dismantling a privately run memorial. It's very existence proves the integrity of Eve-Online and its players.
I went on my own pilgrimage to all these "tourist" destinations in EVE about 6 years ago. I decided I had had enough, and that for my final few days I would go on a journey to see them all before quitting. And here I am, 6 years later, still playing, just as addicted to it as ever. \o/
I still remember the tribute goons gave Vile Rat. More then anything, Eve will forever be a Life simulator too me. The moment B-R exploded into battle is still one of the greatest moments I experienced in Eve, beside all the great people. I wasn't there for it all though. My Celestis wasn't important enough to spend bandwidth on, and what could I do when most enemies became carriers and above in short time.... Eve Gate is a pilgrimage for any Eve player !
I was in system for the death of Steve. It's hardly a conspiracy theory when CCP admits the multiple times they directly helped BoB ingame. A CCP dev alt appeared alongside Cyvok and then disappeared again. He logged off not knowing he had an invisible, off screen aggro timer, then couldn't log back in when the BoB fleet, guided by their dev alt scout, jumped in to pop the titan. Also Steve wasn't used in multiple battles, it was barely used at all, it bridged a couple of fleets a few times, fired the DD twice, maybe three times, but BoB wouldn't fight it until they had it locked in place and offline.

Just found your channel. You have great content. I have a question for you. What is the best ship and/or best ship type that could fit in most fleets? Reason I ask is because I don't exactly have the time to play like I have in the past so my isk is kind of limited. So I would like to find the best (as possible) all around ship to dedicate my time and funds to.
Not sure how you were able to go anywhere. Eve online is the most hostile and nasty community I ever experienced and will never invest time and money in...
@resurrectedstarships Honestly if there was a way to exist in EVE without having to pvp I'd be all over it. I am just not a pvp kinda person. My comment was probably a little over the top cause it is a good game. I have played it but it's just not 4 me.
@@Jeremy-83 it's called living in highsec. Eve is what you make of it, and no, there is not griefing corps that go and target new players as people say, ganking 99% of times is done for profit and so if you avoid putting all of your items in an untanked hauler, your fine.
This is one of the few games that succesfully simulates tourism. I remember the night as a new player I flew out to see the NPC Titan.

There are people that have joined my Corp, that are younger than my corp. First time it happened my brain broke for a solid moment 😂

Malakim Zealots are an Angel Cartel corp, not Deathless Circle, much like the Guri Commandos for Guristas.

LOL Nah that's not true relative to any other game, not anymore. In fact eve has an older demographic and player base.
