His Autobiography/memoir was written by Milos Forman and Jan Novak and the book is absolutely amazing. Mix of short and shorter stories from basically his day one in a year 1932 in Čáslav..some are very sad and some are very funny but all of them are very very interesting and for us from Czech Rep. also quite emotional(*first bloody Nazis then fucking Bolsheviks) The original title: Co Já Vím? He created such movie masterpieces as: Amadeus, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, or The People vs. Larry Flynt (personally I think, he was at the same level as Kubrick) not to mention he was also very humble :)

Isild B not quite on the level of Kubrick, but still an amazing underrated film director. Deserved the two director oscars.

It's brilliant. Where did this piece come from?
It comes from the Criterion DVD release of Loves of a Blonde. I have the disc. It’s the only special feature on the disc besides a deleted scene.
