I thought it was a decent episode. Granted, I still think that it’s the weakest so far of Season 3, but even the weak episodes of R&M are still fantastic in my opinion.

(Morty "40% of them are duds") We followed other ricks and mortys in other eps...so why would a time gap bother you? It has been a year since the last season ....We also learn rick can beat the worst evils in a few hours. This ep showed the blurred lined between good and evil as well. Morty's views on fairy tails were destroyed in a previous ep...now his views of super heroes are too...it was a solid episode. The ending (letting her get away) was also telling to Ricks world view and now she can return if the writers want but more likely noob noob will return. (Fan fav of the ep).

I didn't laugh through it but I still found it funny. I like seeing other people's reactions to it, always easy to fool. I kinda saw the twist coming because I believe I got the formula down pretty well. I still enjoy their stab at the "hero" trope, and showing Morty's hero's true colors, one of them insulting him and one trying to kill him. Basically showing that nobody's a hero, everybody's a selfish asshole. But of course when it got to the climax, and I felt that Rick might have opened up, I also set myself up for disappointment, because this show likes to fuck with my expectations a lot that I consider it the norm, and I'm just waiting for it to happen.
