Yard sales aren’t just for pickers to make a profit. No reason the sellers can’t make a buck and the regular public still can buy lower than resale or retail.
Several times I noticed an olive green Rubbermaid rectangular clothes basket on a bottom shelf in that thrift store. Not sure if it was for sale but if it was those things bring big money.
When we have our citywide garage sales. Almost the whole entire town participates. They seem to hike their prices up from When they would have a normal garage sale
Yeah that is def the case for this neighborhood sale as well. It was so overpriced, I didn’t bother showing 95% of them

We went to an estate sale here in Nicholasville today and the prices were terrible. I am looking for a water bath canner and canning jars. They had pie plates for $10 and an old small pressure cooker or $30. We left. I really enjoy your blogs.

Yeah it’s totally hit or miss with rich folk sales. Some give it away, others charge retail! This neighborhood was 95% super overpriced… I didn’t bother showing them all
Love your videos. You do an amazing job at picking out so many gems. I’ve learned a ton from you. Also, the mom in me can’t let it go. Paul’s tires are bald and it makes my mama heart ache. Please tell him to be careful with that.

Kayla the peaches to beaches videos were so much fun to watch ! You and Paul are a cute couple lol just kidding !! You tease him like he's your big brother !!! Texas has those color codes but where I live in NC, they do not. And no senior or military discounts either . I used to live in TX so I go there to source at least twice a year. I finally started selling on EBay and made my first sale. Bought a baseball glove for $5.99 and sold it for $299.99 ! Wish all the sales were that lucrative!!!

Maybe it's different in different places, but in my experience, the nicer and bigger the house and the richer the person, the higher they price their garage sale items, even if their items are no nicer than the stuff you find at some random middle to lower income families garage sale.
I was going to say the same. Its like they think their exact items are better simply because they are selling from a larger, nicer house. Altho no longer into yard sells, I always avoided the “rich” houses.
They secretly need money to afford their big houses 😆

Do you know why I love you the most? You are a female,going out most days by yourself to bring home the bacon, while your husband is very willing and participates in homeschooling your daughter. I love that you BOTH source, you BOTH work your business, and you BOTH homeschool. THIS is the way it should be and you are both blessed to have a spouse that is all in with all aspects of y’all’s life. Resellers really need to stop feeling so entitled to cheap prices; there is nothing wrong with people knowing the value of their items. Bundle a better deal if able or move on to the next sell.

Our goodwill is color coded, on Sunday they start with two colors, one color makes the item 99 cents, the other color is 50% off.
Oh my goodness! That Hospice Thrift Store is our favorite to shop and donate to. So fun seeing you get your biggest score there!

I don't know if it's just popular in my area (I live in Oregon) but you need wool gloves with the finger tips out. They are great for yard sales as you can dig out money, use your phone, etc., but still keep your hands warm.
My goodwills have 2 colors every week. One at 50% off and the other at 75% and they are in a 6 week rotation. I made a list so I know what to expect

I know this was 2 years ago but if no one told you. The pricing at that store 14:00 in is specifically so people can't change cost. $11.11 Someone will absolutely wipe off the first 1, making it look like it $1.11. This tells the cashier that it is 2 digit price. $8.08 I've not seen them do a paper tag with it though. I've used wax pen to mark on items.

Had to revisit a few & always laugh at the Black & Decker under cabinet. My ex got it an it's dry rotted by now....was worth it ! Warner Robbins has great thrifting.

I live in Atlanta and yeah my first Peaches to Beaches and I simply wasn't impressed. The weather definitely was a factor. I've been several times to that Goodwill in Warner Robbins. Huge dissapointment each time. Still fun video and you scored a few things!
For future trips down for PTB... our central GA Goodwills are tough to find deals at any longer. They hired a couple of local resellers to sort good stuff out at the main distribution warehouse to mark items up to ebay prices, and most of it ends up on either the national goodwill online sells website or on their ebay store rather than in the local stores.
I thought you were going to leave that driver for a min. I was screaming at the computer " get that Mizuno Driver", nice scores great video.

The Goodwill in my hometown is color coded. I really don’t care for it. The sizes are all mixed in together.
Also a teenager that lived in a home for kids because of no one to take care of him was given a voucher to get clothes at goodwill a jacket he wanted goodwill wouldn't let him get it said he couldn't get it with the voucher wouldn't let him have it a customer overheard and bought it for him,he should have been able to get the clothes he wanted with the voucher
