In Sanskrit it's an abbreviation for the word Nisarga, which means (the act of) "creation", "nature" etc. In different languages of India it also means "a natural state", "a present" or "a gift". It also means "abandoning" (which is also very meaningful to me, and I know it's not a coincidance). In Arabic it means "women". In Greek it means "holy", "pure" ... These are the meanings of the word that made me decide to choose it for my name. But just know that there're also other meanings. By the way: Try to repeat the English word "sunny" without a making a break (sunnysunnysunnysunny...) - you'll be pronouncing my name. 😊😊😊😊 When I discovered this, it was the biggest confirmation of my decision (it was a few days after my decision became official).
