Awesome boat man. Congrats! One suggestion I did, they make supports for the minn kota that supports the neck and head when running. The bounce is murder on those things.
Amazing Boat Congrats ! I have the same exact boat here in Miami and it performs wonderfully out in the Gulf Stream. Looking forward to watching you fish on it.
First visit to your channel great vid mate very informative I have a look at the Noosa Bar each day when you go out could you show conditions on the Bar and maybe the trip across Thx mate looking for a boat myself here for Hervey Bay I’ll take a closer look at the Edge water Thx again CU
Thanks mate. Because I prefer the layout and the fitout of the American CC's. If I lived in the southern states of Australia I would probably choose otherwise.
Very nice looking boat!! I’m considering buying one. How EW feels in terms of quality? especially the floor? P.d I heard moisture penetrate EW boat floor in a few years.
This is my third Edgewater and I am very happy with the quality of the build. Of course you need to look after and maintain a boat to get great long term results. I've not had issues with moisture penetration but the longest I have had a boat for is 5 years.
@@SoloAngler ahh bloody hell yeah it might be time for you to drop your solo project young legend I think you need a good deck head we’re off to Columbia baby 😉🤌🏻👍🏻
Congrats on your boat mate.. but you drove 10 hrs without trailer lights??.. You did not think to maybe stop at Supacheap or Repco or Autobahn and get a 7 to 12 pin adapter ?? before the big drive ? lucky nobody ran up the arse of your 200k boat.. More money than brains i think...
Of course I thought about it but I knew that even with the adaptor I wouldn't have brakes or potentially lights based on the wiring. Trying to park 14m of boat and car in a suburban shopping centre carpark to potentially waste my time getting a plug that wouldn't change the situation didn't logically make sense to me. The road is great from Pt Stephens to Noosa so I drove carefully and got home safe. Appreciate your concern.
@@SoloAngler Well mate i have used a few trailer adapters in my time and i have never known one not to work.. they do design these things to actually work you know.. Anyway love your boat mate.. stay safe , enjoy it.. and catch heaps of fish.

Beautiful boat from Cape May New Jersey.
Congrats on the new boat! It wasn't that long ago when I asked on here whether you'd upgrade to the 208cc 😁
Looks great !! Lots of exciting fishing adventures ahead !!
Boats propped for that low and mid range, and I think that better than a smaller prop for more high end. Great boat.
Nice Video David... Thanks for the great wrap!.. pun intended. Looking forward more of your videos.
Excellent on the water review sir. Thank you!
Lovely boat lovely fish Dave.
That boat is unreal mate. If you ever need a deckie give me a shout 👍
Super nice looking boat, hope it's as good as your last.

Mad rig ! 👌 congrats dude
What a beauty!!! 👍🏼
Amazing boat! I fish out of a mates one reguarly absolute love the thing! Nice work mate.
Cheers mate. Lovin it so far
Far out Dave you didn't hold back on this mate, I don't think I want the 188 anymore ;). Well done bud. That Noosa ramp looks bloody busy.
Haha. Everything has a price tag. Yes, Noosa boat ramp SUX!!!!
Yeah mate, nice work. No comparison isn't ride compared to the 18 degree dead rise on the 188cc?
Very nice! Knife looks like bad spot for the legs
It's actually no problem, my legs don't go near it
Recommend you get some sort of support arm for the electric motor
I'm watching it closely to see how much it flex's. Not too bad so far
$50 railblaza trolling motor support kit, well worth it. BCF…. awesome boat 👍

Hi Gary. If you watch the last five minutes of the video I do a Noosa Bar crossing.
Need some stone guards asap
Great boat. Super impressive and perfect up there. What’s the damage as is?
Approximately AU$180k
Looking at this boat at a boat show in US/Fl this weekend, how did those low profile trim tabs work out?
congrats man on your new boat..just wondering, why do u choose america cc instead of australian 6 meter boat such edencraft/cootacraft ?
Thanks mate. Because I prefer the layout and the fitout of the American CC's. If I lived in the southern states of Australia I would probably choose otherwise.
@@SoloAngler thanks mate 👏👏👏
fucking lekker boat.. take it up north
I had to look up the word "Lekker". Hahaha. Thanks mate.

@@SoloAnglerwhat about EW buoyancy? It got upright level flotation? in case of swamped?
Epic rig. Would wanna be for 200k though
Hoping for new episodes soon it's been too long
Sorry, been travelling overseas in South America for most of this year.
nice boat mate, just wondering what the total weight of the boat and trailer is?
I haven't had it weighed but approximately 2.5Tonne all up
Why you decide for Mercury over Yamaha despite the new EW comes with Yammy’s?
Is it propped OK for speed/Revs
Is this considered a bay or an offshore boat?
Definitely an offshore boat
where did you get the boat cover?
How do you get on with the 2.6 mtr beam.
I love the wide beam. On a boat this size with plenty of weight it seems to ride well.
wait what?
Can you get hold of some good coke there legend
Hahaha. Can get whatever you want in Colombia mate
