As someone who drives at night a lot and near the university where there are tons of bicycles. I feel they're not enough laws regarding rules for bicycles. they should be required to wear helmets, they should be required to wear reflective vests and there should also have to be lights that flash on the bicycles. The fault is not always the car not paying attention you cannot always see bicycles they blend into the background. Some people wear black clothes at night. The person needs to do what they can to protect themselves.
A license plate is not a safety device buy could cause a attention to safety when reported about not safe driving . The extra lane is not always possible and would cost billions . The requirement of safety vest flashing lights and helmet combination very affordable I have those myself .
I am under the opinion that parents should be held more responsible for their children's actions not less such as when a child commits suicide because they were bullied at school that is the parents fault and responsibility not the schools does parents should have done something about the bullying the schools do not have the responsibility to raise our children properly we as parents have that responsibility and as soon as a parent realizes that they take charge they take control they do what's necessary for their children's safety and welfare those who don't raise criminals and delinquents and blame society for the problems that they have with their child
So what he said is true until the age of 14 years old they're supposed to be under the surveillance of a parent or guardian so if these children were less than 14 years old these three girls then their parents all of them should be charged with this crime correct that's how we stopped things we enforce laws on the books
Looks like we need dedicated cycle tracks. Bike crashes are seldom deadly. When cars are present, people die.
Ebikes that travel over 25 mph should have to be licensed. @
E-bikes are like motorcycles, way too easy to become overconfident on them.
Oh my, that’s a lot a lot of accidents since the beginning of the year. Prayers for the girls and the driver. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Separated cycle tracks should be required.
I too have had accidents with my e-bike! I have always been a bike rider but riding an e-bike is very different. You center of balance is different!
Kids riding their e-bikes up and down my street at 20 plus mph every day, some without helmets.
I don't like them kids don't obey the laws and the kid was driving to fast in the lane where cars are with no lights bot licence plate too dangerous

Makes your kid lazy as well.
