  • After many years of waiting, Zen has finally released a new table and it is non other than the iconic Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure. It is a table that I know quite well so playing it is more a case of just getting used to the way Zen has implemented it on Classic Arcade. I decided a long time ago, that if I play Indiana Jones, then I'll play the missions rather than just time them out like you'll do in a tournament. In this game I play through all the missions once and start the Eternal Life Wizard mode for the table achievement. I sadly failed the wizard mode by just one shot in the rollovers. I also score a super jackpot (apologies for changing the camera view in my excitement) and quite a few extra balls from e.g. the 8x multiplier and path of adventure. It is certainly a fun table and I hope that I'll soon (finally!) get to finish the Eternal Life wizard mode.

My basic aim with any tips and strategy gameplay video I post is to help the viewer improve his skill in the game and on the specific table. I do this by identifying the safest and most efficient strategy to follow to play through the modes and to reach and beat the wizard mode. This is admittedly not always the most efficient way to achieve a high score, but once you understand the table, including which shots and modes are worth it or not, it puts you in the position where you can concentrate on what you have identified as the best approach to reaching a high score.

Not familiar with this table, but watching you play, it reminds me a lot of TOTAN.

I want this, but I'm pretty broke. Not to mention that Zen wants $15 for a single table. That's not normally a good price.

Haha... yeah, should just have paused and fixed the camera 😜. It was just bad luck that the rollover wasn't hit during the long ballsave... hopefully, one day soon.
I enjoyed playing it but do wish Zen moves away from this rubber-bounce ball since Vol 6. There are also a few other things that are not quite right e.g. the near-impossible backhand shot into the mission hole which is quite key on the real table. Hopefully, Zen fix it for FX and then also here.

Hello Dan! I wanted to ask you what you thought about the FX Single Player version of this game? I noticed that the arcade version does not have the side decals on the blades and I wonder why they did that. I absolutely love this table after playing it for a while but I find it very hard to hit that Right Ramp for the jack pot and adventure, but I'm guessing they designed it that way intentionally but boy is it frustrating lol!

I don't play single player so only thing I can say is that the planes in the enhanced graphics is distracting so not worth having on.
I'll must admit that I don't have a problem with the right ramp and that it rarely gets me in trouble unlike with the other version. Just stick with it for a while and eventually your timing for the shot will lock in.
