Same here. I have an ‘06. I don’t have an aux outlet tho. I’ll probably just use the FM connection.

That would have been so much better than the janky setups I used to use when roadtripping old junk back home after buying it.

I plan to use it for that when I pick up something drivable!

Nice mini lol... was curious on how this would look on a r53 thanks 😅

Thanks! It fits pretty well, though it's a little bit on the larger size for the mini. I'm sure you can tweak the positioning to make it work!

@@frenchineer yeah I wanted to update my old ass JVC radio. It’s basic. Was gonna get an Apple 1 din radio from ECS but seemed to cheap for almost $100. Bit the bullet for the Eonon since I had one in my old e46 and was great. Plus the added camera for safety for accidents is a free plus honestly. I’ll post it later on in a video see how it looks mounted 😂

Nice, I'll have to check it out when you do! I'll be rebuilding a different R53 on the channel in the future, though there will be another video featuring this one soon!

I like the Mini hook up. I gotta do something with those wires, tho.

Yeah, I think tucking them behind the trim would be ideal. Though I have a different plan for the Mini's radio, stay tuned!

What year Mini is that? I have an ‘06 but it doesn’t have an AUX port.

@@ND-9 The AUX port was a custom addition using the original iPod interface. A cable plugs into the head unit and adds an input jack. I have done the radio upgrade since, which you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/bNX4RML2prM/видео.html
