It is encouraging to see an AOH parade in the North celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Hopefully, one day we will see the North rejoin the Republic.
As a non Catholic i can honestly say i was very impressed by this parade & the Orders conduct, Well done! All a march such as this one that needs is exactly what it had, `A Touch Of Ballycastles well known `Oul magick.` Well done All. :)
Is this the 12th of July battle commemoration? My wife and I were supposed to be over for the 12th celebration in 2020 but due to Covid-19 have to postpone. We've been before to Dan Winters cottage and saw Carrick Fergus castle also. We hope to go back for the Boyne celebration and we're hoping to be there in 2022 we're flying from Seattle, Washington USA. God Bless 🧡

Fair play to the loyalists as one thing they take the utmost pride in, and the one thing they need to be applauded for, is their ability to dress up like toy soldiers and march up and down 'the kings highway'. They truly put the rest of us to shame when it comes to that. Forget about getting a job, an education, or maybe playing in a band in your spare time. The loyalist mentality is go hard or go home. Full time band members, no part timers. They put marching first. That truly is the spectacle and grandeur known as the orange order. What would we do without them.
