I glad you mention determinate vs indeterminate. I only learned this 4 years ago. We have 800 plants coming this year and knowing which ones need a good hilling a couple of times saves us so much work!

I need to order seed potatoes. I want a lot of potatoes to grow this Fall. I have only grown potatoes from seed and the store, but not seed potatoes. The seed was from some I collected from a russet that flowered. I have seen seeds for a Ukrainian variety I may try, like actual seeds. They are the only kind I have seen that is in a seed packet. I don't know that I can get seed potatoes in the fall, but I can try from actual seed possibly.
Oh, I found some from the US, good. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find TPS. I read I can't import them. 😅
I’ve never grown them from seed. Do you have a feed store? That’s where I got my potatoes. They’re so expensive to buy online.
@@beesandseeds There is one! I haven't been there, but I've driven by a lot of times. I should check them out. I may try one called, "Clancy" that is from seed if I can't find any seed potatoes nearby.
