this semester just ended. i took my last final this morning. i can finally relax and focus on my personal life. 2020 has been ROUGH. i've lost friends, family pets, and i almost lost my dad in the middle of a messy divorce. he and i are mending our relationship and trying to live happy again. i have a job now which is cool but also stressful. i want to do more hobby stuff like cosplaying. thank u for the wonderful mix! i finally have something to listen to and calm down

if you're ever in Kyoto, there's a place called "Saga-no-yu", a hotspring bathouse converted to a café. they have amazing seasonal drinks - my favorite is Hoji-chai, a perfectly spiced chai latte made with barley tea; melts your worries away even on a rainy day - as well as an absolutely delicious selection of house made pastas. located just a short walk from the world famous arashiyama bamboo forest and bridge of moon crossing (togetsukyo 渡月橋) where you can stop and watch the elegant cranes, or go for a romantic stroll under the moonlight it's my favorite spot in the area. and finally, the soundtracks are often a mix of ghibli bossonova and jazz, which they also offer CD's for sale. stop by some time~

I know I can't be the only one who uses Ghibli music for meditation. They are really effective in recapturing the life's essence we might have lost throughout our entire lifetime dealing with world-ish attached thoughts. This music carries nostalgic emotion, it evokes child-like innocence, and wake up the little soul that's been long missing in your heart. It feels as if we've become children again in a way we perceive things, and we would gladly point our visionary bow towards the stars as innocent minds as we ever be :)

2020 has been a pretty tough year for everyone , i was in a dilemma whether to continue working as an administrator staff in a company or to continue my study as a cognitive science student . I'm not from a well off family so my parents weren't so supportive of me going to university , i spent days crying and arguing with my parents about this issue , but fortunately they let me go to uni and i am now working as a part-timer at the company as well , everything's going so well , but now im too stressed out with both my assignments and also stuff from work ... anyway , i hope that everyone is having a good day and please dont give up just yet , things will work out and you'll be fine .
I'm definitely not in a similar situation as you but I can relate with juggling both school assignments and a part-time job. I'm in highschool, finishing 13th grade (it's a german school), while I am also working as a barista in a small shop. Your situation is definitely way tougher than mine, but I am certain that with time you will manage it even better and maybe even find a passion that you could use to destress.... As a Studio Ghibli fan and lover of Miyazaki's films, this really is beautifully done. I love that you manage to use Hisaishi's music to match with the picture of the Ginzan Onsen. The Ginzan Onsen itself also looks like something straight out of "Spirited Away" itself. It gives a beautiful feeling for the Holidays.
