Hi SebAshtian, the best advice is to download the test ground dimensions, get a flat area with a good road surface, use flour to mark the lines and practice. There is a guy that advertises in Bike SA that could help you his name is Johan, he operates from Pretoria. Good luck
Thank you very much for this video. I was using the link you gave in the description to prepare for my test. It is also nice to have a video to show the checks etc etc being done. I have my test tomorrow morning and hoping to pass .
Hermien Roux Yes :) was pretty easy actually. Just reminder to other to check your mirrors before stopping on the emergency swerves (and any other breaking) , only thing I did not do.
SkewerHed Barberoussa Hey man, Not in order to check for turning, Just you are apparently meant to check for breaking , So just a quick look in either of the mirrors before / as you break . To be honest the test is really easy. I went to cape town and the guy walk around the track with me before and explained everything and even said a few things like "you do your checks here" etc. If I can give you any tips, Do not stress about the width of the lines you ride in , I was nervous hitting them before I did the test, But it is actually almost impossible . Do not try to prejudge the turning of the lights , also the speed track is at the middle of the line ( so the end of the 2 lines you have to ride in) so you can stop accelerating after you hit the trap giving you more time to swerve left or right ) and last , on the "city driving " part, watch out for that turn after the "stop street" , its actually pretty sharp if you dont have any speed to keep the bike up , hence why the guy in the video stopped slightly before the line. Good luck
My Apologies again. I re-read your description in the vid description.... You didn't actually say it had the dimensions, just the "testing ground size and layout", My bad. Does anyone have the actual layout with dimensions that someone can use to mark out the course at home and practice?

| Switch | Hey. So you have to check your mirrors before you swerve left or right?
Hey congratulations Switch!

Where are the emergency stops at speed as well as life saver (Over the shoulder) checks?
You have not watched the video properly, the emergency stop is included.
At what time point ?
Thank you for sharing
Hi Hermien, The site you listed with the testing grounds dimension doesn't have any dimensions. Is there another site that perhaps has them?
Will look for you again

Apologies but I'm not seeing the dimensions you're talking about. Are you perhaps referring to the "Speeds" for each section?

Did the guy in the video pass? Thanks for uploading this video
Yes he passed
Why is the learner not wearing any protective gear ? like a jacket for a start ?
He is wearing a top of the range BMW jacket...with major protection built in and have you noticed the helmet?
Look at 1.01 and he's in short sleeves.....
isn't there like a school you can go to for lessons or something?
Did the guy passed the test in the video?
Yes he passed
Yes he passed
