Buy it again, shovel the area, wet that area a bit, put it down, inflate it, do light sprays with garden spray nozzle for a few days. Don't spray it with snow on it or if it's going to snow on it while its freezing, don't let snow stay on it, you can push snow to cover those balloons from sunlight.. Get like 4inches of ice but also try and keep it out of direct sunlight. -8c or colder best fore ice making. Don't spray another layer until last one completely freezes. The thicker the spray the longer it takes, but always start with the flattest surface possible when picking a spot to lay it down. I'd like to see you do this again but follow those rules. The only failure should be the sun warming up the blue coloured material. Challenged!

Making the "pool" as level as possible so your ice is an even thickness. Honestly if you do it right and take time to set it up properly, this would be more than adequate for a kid-size practice pad.

Nasher I saw there are now snow skates. It’s kinda like a ski boot but you can skate on snow. I have no clue how much it cost I have just seen the announcement. You would have to be somewhere where a lot of snow is. I don’t think it would be an “is it trash” product based off of the price which I’m not sure what it is, and you have to be somewhere where there is a lot of deep snow like a ski resort. Maybe you have heard of them. But I’m not asking you to do an “is it trash” on it. But I’m just letting you know. Keep up the good work:)

Back in the day, we would make slush in buckets and just pack it on the ground into a rink shape. Then after it froze, we would spray water over it making layers of ice. It worked great! Our only mistake was to put the net towards the house. Took out a couple of windows! Ooops! George B

i got this product a few years ago and i had a cement pad so that helped a lot and i filled the tubes on the side with water my brother and i enjoyed this product a lot
i’m a newfoundlander, my father has made many ODR for us over the years. your first mistake was flooding it! you need to do the ice in layers. however this inflatable thing is junk LOL but for future ODRs, pour the water in layers. let it freeeze, add another thin layer and so on. it takes a long process to get it right
