Thank for sharing ! I enjoy watching your end of year review and hearing what was completed. We are beginning our first year of homeschool for our 1st grade son ❤
I do think it is necessary. As the lessons progress, it will give you the words your kiddo will need to spell. It also explains the spelling by patterns/concepts and how the entire program progresses from level to level. If you are looking for Level B, here is a link to a portion of the instructors guide spellingyousee.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/B-FirstThreeLessons.pdf Also, maybe try Facebook marketplace or eBay to find a used copy that is a little cheaper, but I would highly recommend getting the instructor’s guide.
Slightly advanced for my girl because she was just learning to read. I read the lesson aloud to her and we broke this curriculum up into 2 years. She has remembered some of the information presented in the text, and she likes completing the atlas workbook.
Raise your hand if you have an up & coming 2nd grader 🙋🏻♀️
We felt the same way about TGATB spelling. Our son enjoyed spelling you see this year.
That’s great to hear! Which level of spelling did you use? I loved the upper versions in the older grades too when my oldest was in 5th & 6th.

Great to hear! We have a new upcoming in kinder, 2nd and 4th. I love hearing everything!
That’s awesome! We will have 2 kiddos in the same grades for ‘24-‘25 😊 Kinder and Grade 2 (my other will be 9th)
Definitely want to get Notgrass history for my 3 boys. Hopefully someday soon. 💸 Gotta get our core strong first. Big TGATB order coming.

Thank you so much for sharing!
Of course! All of the Notgrass curriculums have been such a blessing to our family over the years.

Do you think the teachers guide for spelling you see is necessary?

Do you think notgrass was a good fit for first grade or kind of advanced?

Me! 🙋🏻♀️ I will have a kindergartner, 2nd grader and 2 in 5th grade.
Love it! I’ll also have a kindergartener kiddo 😉
We’ll have a kindergartener and fourth grader for 2024-2025
☺️ I’ll have a kinder too
You are making her work way to hard get her a phonic program and spelling like All About Reading.
I appreciate your thoughts! We tried the All About Reading program for Kindergarten and it didn’t work well for her learning style.
