Thank you, ActionKid again, for taking me with you on a tour around this pretty small town. This was (again) a nice little (virtual) escape from my hospital-bed as i`m quite tied to it after a little surgery on my spine. One of those fine days, when we all can travel again, i wanna visit NY again. I think, Germany and NYC will bounce back in 2021. We will recover from this situation. Cheers from Cologne :-)
I believe AK did a Tarrytown visit a couple months ago. But with Halloween fast-approaching, maybe he can be enticed to Sleepy Hollow and the Headless Horseman, haunted houses and a spooky Halloween Hayride. Just thinking out loud..
Nice job! I grew up in Cold Spring and it was a great place to spend my childhood. My parents emigrated from Italy and settled here, but we have very few relatives left in the village.
Wow I remember when this was a little sleepy hamlet. Beautiful though no doubt about it. The waterfront facing the mountains is breathtaking in person. Video does not deliver the same effect. Glad ActionKid did not pass by my favorite restaurant there.
I have lived in Cold Spring for 55+ years and the crowds of tourists have been beyond words since September 2020. It is a great place to live but it is definitely changing with all the NEW people moving in and buying homes.
Nice place..village in new york...wow..we are used to thinking new york as a big city (i am Greek living in Greece). Those living in the country are so lucky..i live in a crowded place
Beautiful Cold Spring. I grew up on Fair St. The old buildings are the same, but the Mom and Pop stores are gone. It was beautiful growing up there. Got married and left in 1971. The town is too commercial now.... but beautiful all the same. I really enjoyed this video, thank you.
Such a sweet little village!🌸🍂Will definitely visit when I’m next over from England!💓💓...if only for a Moo Moo’s!...used to visit Port Jefferson a lot which was one of my favourite places💓🎃💓..Thanks Ken!
Great video, ActionKid! It's great how you cover not only the 5 boroughs, but also the surrounding areas now! You must be a NYC metro area expert by now. Eventually it will be insane how many places you can say you have visited. You'll know every street corner in a 50 mile radius!
I dabble in collectibles and artwork. Gotta do your homework! Cold Springs in a huge hub for this. Been a while since I’ve been there; seems like the big antique stores are disappearing, replaced by food venues. They better be careful. No antiques and the cafes disappear. I wouldn’t take the trip anymore. Should have seen it twenty years ago. Take 22 north. It is full of mom and pop antique stores
No wonder the place has those krazy home prices. Apparently it attracts that horrible set of people that goes 'antiquing'. I'll make a note to stay the heck away from there next time I'm out in that area. Nauseating, really.
It still looks very inviting for me. I'm not looking for antiques though. We had many in the house where I grew up in NJ. Too bad the real estate is probably very high, but for a day trip it looks good.
What a great video! Your videos have inspired me to start my own walking channel here in Bangkok. If you have any pointers on my videos I would love to hear it! Thanks!
God, I used to work at the Depot restaurant and the ice cream shop. What a nightmare that was in the summer! Great town to grow up in though thats for sure. I miss it all the time.
Cold Spring is one of my favorite day trips to take out of NYC. I love to browse the shops and just enjoy the quaintness of the village. Great video, AK!
Wonderful introduction to a charming village with popular and artsy shops in a bucolic setting. Love the name 'Moo-Moo' ice cream.. You got the 'scoop' on that, hehe. So many ice cream places. Lots of young, well-heeled ppl activity. As the leaves turn, I hope you can get out of the City to document the Fall colors -- is there a secret, country/nature near-term Fall foliage vid in the works??
Awesome vid of a quaint suburb. I love the comprehensive coverage of Queens and Brooklyn on your channel. Would be cool if you did some vids going through some Hispanic neighborhoods in the Bronx; perhaps a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon stroll through those neighborhoods can capture the vibrant Puerto Rican/Dominican street vibes.
Nice little town. We in the Netherlands say, gezellig stadje. In English a cozy little town. Have you made a video of a trail to. I saw on the photos mountains.
Yup, another grand tour of the menu cards. Very nice village though with interesting and varied selection of domestic architecture. Not many brown and black Americans live here, right? Don't suppose the have a desperate need to own a pumpkin pillow.
What a wonderful, fun, diverse, liberal town. May it never be destroyed by the crude, the low, the repetitive, the political. That's the America I want.
Absolutely love the atmosphere of this little village, the houses are so pretty too. Perfect for a day trip!
Every village in the Hudson valley. Someone must sell them pre-fab.
Wow... I actually used to live here, I never expected you to make a video on it. Nice to see it again.

Rockefeller State Park!

Another great tour! It is amazing how stable your footage is. Great job Actionkid! ❤️😉
The store with the word “skein” was a yarn store .
A skein of yarn to make knitting projects .
Nice little town to explore .
Nice job! I grew up in Cold Spring and it was a great place to spend my childhood. My parents emigrated from Italy and settled here, but we have very few relatives left in the village.
This was great. Love this little village. I go there about 1x every year and spend the entire day. Nice break from NYC.
Hey there Action Kid! My husband and I watch you all the time! We live across the Hudson in Highland Falls (Gateway to West Point). Come visit us!
I also follow ActionKid works. They are fantastic.
Lovely quaint village.
Fantastic ending to a fantastic video...beautiful views..thank you

I love Cold Spring. One of the places i really miss in NY. Thanks for doing this video!
What a gorgeous place, and so accessible for New Yorkers. Nice to see you spending your days off just like we do in the UK!
haha i loved that sign at Side Effects! "Buy something; you'll feel better!"
Parts of this village reminds me of Milford in Pennsylvania. Quaint and beautiful 🌞
From the city to the historic small towns. .... ActionKid takes us everywhere !!! 🤗🥀🐻🏵️🌸❇️🎆😋
So cool. Cold Spring is a cute village. First stop on the way to Grand Central going from Beacon.
Another great vid ! I grew up in this village and it was awesome ! Definitely not the way the town is today . Thanks for a trip down memory lane 👍
Nice little place. Liked the photos at the end. 🍁

Wow! What a lovely village, and obviously very popular 😊
It helps me thank you, I'm taking the train there in a few days for a little getaway from NYC.
Thanks for sharing that village is so populated overcrowded
Thanks! I used to live and play and work in Cold Spring
This is nice. These are the kinds of things I do these days. Day trips and hibernate when the sun goes down..lol

Thanks for sharing, I also plan to visit soon, need to get away from NYC for a day.
Now is the perfect time to take a train ride up to the Hudson Valley. Cooler weather, many of the Restaurants are open, the leaves are changing.
Cold Spring is one of my favorite day trips to take out of NYC. I love to browse the shops and just enjoy the quaintness of the village. Great video, AK!
Awesome hiking trails up there!
I miss it up north I'm a Jersey guy. Anyone who never visit the Tri-State area now is a beautiful time Autumn looks great there

Beautiful village.
AK I love your videos! I am a Panda member now 😉👍
Greetings from Argentina Actionkid, surprised by the Argentine corner in Cold Spring. Like
Very nice small town for short vacation.
Everyone was giving you the “hiss-eye”. lol. For getting too close I imagine. Even though you were only in their space for like 2 seconds
Nice little town. We in the Netherlands say, gezellig stadje. In English a cozy little town.
Have you made a video of a trail to. I saw on the photos mountains.
I was born and raised in this town. I only visit it because of relatives still living there. It's certainly not my town anymore.
thats the area i did a driving video to test out dash cams i got. I did a day and night driving. thats a nice area to visit.
Definitely one of my favorites 💕🤘
That looks extremely cold to me! Hope you had warm clothing on! 😃

Those home prices are nuts, bro. No one I know can afford or would want to pay those prices for those homes. It's ridiculous.
