This is one of the best depictions of depression and overcoming it I’ve seen in kpop. Lots of references to ending things, the bathtub scene, the secluded gamer basically rotting to death with the ants, standing in front of a car, the jumping off the building. There are also references to overeating which is one of the most recognizable symptoms. But instead of falling they’re rising, again, probably referencing their first Assemble comeback. I love the use of crows and dark Angel imagery. It’s as if they’re retaining a bit of darkness and gloom, as if they’re still hurt and sad in a way, but they’ll still survive. Which I think is a more realistic view on depression. Not everything is pure joy and bliss, but you can still fly high. They killed it with this
I teared up man, been following this for over 1 1/2 years now (it started May 2022, I joined September 2022 iirc). Crazy to see all 24 together in a single shot, the top-view OT24 choreos looked beautiful.. Love the song, have to check the album after work. 😍😭
bro this lowkey made me emotional seeing them from around this time two years ago till now ot24 is gonna be crazy this era. this might be my favorite tripleS title track right next to girls capitalism.
This music video was so beautiful. It speaks on the topic of depression and suicide and in a way that shows that you matter, if you go through with it or not, your legacy will go on and you are valuable no matter what, its never your end❤
I’ve not seen anyone mention it yet but I feel like one other interpretation of what’s happening is that the crows are Shinigamis (angels of death) and every time a member is about to die, the Shinigamis save/stop them as if it’s not their time yet since they have something bigger to accomplish. I also feel like the scene with Seoyeon and Jiyeon is not like the others, they actually transform into birds and aren’t saved by them, which imo means they are the Shinigamis since they are the start and the end (S1 and S24) they decide when a life starts and when it ends. This is ofc reinforced by the black wings they have, they are playing in the edge of a rooftop as if they’re above life and death… What do you guys think of this? It’s clearly not the only interpretation of this MV but I feel like it does make sense
THE SONG SO TOO GOOD i cried a lot, ive been a WAV exactly 2 years and every comeback touched me in a way but THIS i feel more than that, i feel like i can die in peace now hahaha, im so so so proud of them and how far the they come and i can't wait for the future!!! also no skip album as always😌❤️
the exactly 24 birds on the end... the detail is just impressive, and the fact that they have a separate ritual-esque dance just for the mv, and an official choreo they perform on music shows just shows how hard they worked. They really deserved that music show first win, and getting it as a full 24 member group is just the icing on the cake
"you can't go wrong with the good melody. i don't even care what they're saying in it but if the melody is good i'm there" i felt this to a spiritual level man
I appreciated a lot of the similar scenes dealing with issues of depression were very similar to a lot of scenes from HYYH-era BTS mvs, especially I Need U and Run. The scenes like the bathtub drowning and getting run over were obviously very similar (especially happening so close together I couldn't help but think of it), as well as a lot of the Xinyu/Sohyun/Naky/Nien/Chaewon scenes being very reminiscent vibes wise of like "misfit teens" kind of vibe in INU/RUN. Just something I noticed and enjoyed as a longtime ARMY and WAV. Love the comeback.

Facts, the triple s concept is always good, like girl capitalism is also good
No wonder why I felt so moved by the MV without realizing what jt was about 😭
best release of 2024 so far
every time, the lalalas carry different emotions. The sound is also universal, going beyond language barriers. I think it is just the right amount.
yes i actually love it when triple s does lalalas in their songs
I hope they always do that@@user-gd4ln4uk8e
i totally agree the “la la la” can never gets too much with tripleS

Girls might never cry, but i did ...
I wish their song should be more than 5 minutes long, they could've record a longest K-pop song in history.
