Robert, that intro absolutely ROCKED! It sounded so good. Nice job! After finding out that they will produce instruments w/o "relicing", I'm seriously considering buying a Friedman now.
I agree. If you like how it looks, you'll play it more. I'm the first one to sometimes call BS on artificial relic stuff because "it's fake, it's a poseur thing" but, you know what? Who cares? It looks cool and life is too short to not have the guitar you want so rock on. That guitar looks and sounds great.
Hey Robert, awesome video review man, I picked up a Vintage T as a result and have never been happier... quick question.. what is your bridge pickup height ? Cheers, Dan
Love it! The vintage T (no relic) is a bucket list guitar for me maybe because they cost so much. Whenever I see one I get all Wayne’s world on people “it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine” so maybe someday but not right now. Gorgeous guitar my friend!
I'm a tele man through and through. My 3 main guitars are all teles (Tele deluxe, Tele thinline classic and tele player) and this Friedman guitar tele right here is literally the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. No doubt about it.
Holy Crap !! Rob the run at :54 is ridiculously cool i need to learn that !!! sweet tele i have the blonde Squier version that fender came out with and love the p90's. believe its called the custom II if i had the $ i would definitely invest in one of these.
I saw this in your "my guitars" video a while back. Been mainly a PRS player but the sound blew me away. I searched for one, and ended up buying an Avi Shabat prototype (#16) Vintage-T. The previous owner had replaced the bridge pup with an SD but luckily supplied the original. The pick guard was a little hacked from the install but it added to the distressed look. Getting a replacement pick guard anyway from Avi himself (signed hopefully)! It's easily my favorite guitar (or top 2.. I have a PRS PS that is pretty sweet too).
I absolutely adore this guitar! I have said it and I will say it again, I will buy it the moment I can pay for it. Quite the good taste you have, Robert :)
Nice axe man! How about a follow-up review of your Richie Kotzen Sig? I'm digging mine a lot. One swipe of that knife selector goes from squishy SRV land to mid-boost solosville! And that chunkillicious neck is just great.
How was not subbed to u?! I am now. I must of watched you heaps. Now you got me into Friedman p90s. I'm after a junior dc but on the cheap. Have u seen the new Eastman junior DC's coming out. They sound and look insanely good. They fixed the bridge and has a special pot that on 10 cuts the tone circuit!
Robert I have question for you I really appreciate your videos by the way. I have two Grover Jackson Friedman guitars and am really joenzing for the vintage t like you have. I have an hss and vintage t with humbuckers by senior Grover. Ok so my question is do you play this axe live or record with it still?
I love how, on their website, Friedman describes the Vintage T as "a working class" guitar, yet at £2,500 (UK) they sell for "aristocratic" prices. I have a Feral relic "T" guitar, custom made in England by George Debenham. The spec is: one-piece swamp ash body (it's very heavy!), hard rock Canadian maple neck with real rosewood fretboard, all electrics and wiring is top quality, genuine Fender "f" tuners, TUSQ nut, and Bare Knuckle "Brown Sugar" p/ups. Mine is surf (or foam) green, with a light relic finish to both body and neck. It plays like an absolute dream. £500, delivered to your door.
6:35-6:46.... 7:04-7:06. Sold. Wow. That was beautiful. I can't justify $2700, but i may have to get those pickups to cram into a MIM Fender Tele.... Congrats on that guitar. She's a beaut'.
Thanks brother! Well done and thanks for sharing ! Great mix and demonstration! Cool guitar as Well! I'm Thinking about a New Tele, Can't make up my mind! Be Well Robert!
Man, I have that guitar! It's confusing me because it's a non-Squire Fender and the only numbers I can find are on the neck that says 94. It all looks authentic Fender. It almost scares me it plays so good, and I love the P90's.
What do you think of HSS Strats? Mine is Shawbucker with v mods, doesn’t sound great with high gain amp, is that just normal Strat harshness? Or pickups?
Robert! Brotha man you seriously need to check out Jim Wagner Pickups! (Formerly WCR Pickups) He has some 90's called G90'S that are amazing! He has a bridge callrd a "Hot 90" that he's made for some time now and it's a scorching monster as well as smooth and warm with dialed down volume on the guitar. Seriously just amazing stuff!
Hey Robert, could you help out with something? (possible video idea). Anyway, im playing for about 10 years (im crappy still), and im used to play sitting down. But when im standing up, everything feels different. Its easier for my fretting hand to play, but my picking hand feels like it doesnt know what to do. I usually still hit the strings, but it feels weird, and i dont really know how to hold my pick when standing up. Also having issues with strap length. Most videos i watched just show general things, but doesnt show how to adjust the picking hand. Also posture, how you should stand, etc.
How do channels like Ben's still play other bands riffs and teach them if you can't? I know there has been crazy issues with copyright lately. But why do some channels still teach other bands songs and other channels like yours are afraid to play a riff of someone else's? Do these other channels just not care if they get demonetized?
As DSus2 has been copyrighted, I'm gonna do the same for the A chord and all variations...…. See you in court guys (leaves with evil laugh and cute furry kitty on arm)…..
Don't change them... they sound amazing. I have a prototype friedman someone replaced the bridge with a SD and it sounded terrible compared to the P90. Glad I got the original pup with it. First thing I put back on mine.
Just stay at the fact! What the hell is other in a Friedmann betwen a , ... when i see the form, these is a Telecaster :D .. and i ask!!! Just because of the Price!! :D These is prity nothing :) :D , just the AMP ... ohh yesss P90 pickups.. :D
Intro jam = WORLD CLASS.
This guys playing is so effortless, and he has a great taste in instruments. I like the fact he likes styles not names.
Robert, that intro absolutely ROCKED! It sounded so good. Nice job! After finding out that they will produce instruments w/o "relicing", I'm seriously considering buying a Friedman now.
The guitar sounds awesome, especially when it’s doubled. The intro jam was great dude! Love it.
I agree. If you like how it looks, you'll play it more. I'm the first one to sometimes call BS on artificial relic stuff because "it's fake, it's a poseur thing" but, you know what? Who cares? Robert, I took delivery of one of these today. Your video was very influential in my decision. It totally exceeded my expectations. Thanks, man!!
So if you aren't allowed to play Led Zeppelin riffs, you just make your own Zeppelin riffs!
😄
Watch Atlantic go after his ass and demonetize this video... somehow. :(
@@canyoncarver "the sound of a guitar is now copyrighted"
been searching for ages, what the fuck is the name of the song hes emulating, been doing my head in
Ahhh that's pretty awesome my man, *but when are you going to get the Flying V????* haha!
Awesome and rocking playing as always!
When his bank account has gone up from the PRS
Wow, playing and tone in the that intro jam was Awesome
Tele with p 90s. Uh...duh. course its good.
what a dream guitar for me. my next will be along these lines.
I fucking love your personality man! Always a pleasure!
I would love to get one of these....this color, relic and specs is exactly what I'd want !!!!!
I like the heavy relic look. That guitar sounds amazing too
Hey Robert, awesome video review man, I picked up a Vintage T as a result and have never been happier... quick question.. what is your bridge pickup height ? Cheers, Dan
Killer playing as always! Got me g.a.s-ing for some p-90's now!
That is a glorious instrument. I'm usually not a fan of reliced stuff, but that one is done right. Sounds awesome!! \m/
Got one, couldn't be happier.. your review is awesome , but nothing compares to holding one in your hands.
Sounds great man!
Thank you my man. It means a lot⚡️

Tone for days! Pure rock & roll.
Amazing opening tune! That one is dangerous!

The P-90's in that guitar caught my ear from day 1.
Rock on, dude! Love it! I’ve been eyeing one of these with p90s
Love that guitar!! What’s you opinion about reverb for solos? Do you have any videos on it already?
That solo.... I can hear everyone from Page to Joe Walsh
I absolutely adore this guitar! I have said it and I will say it again, I will buy it the moment I can pay for it. Quite the good taste you have, Robert :)

unfortunately Friedman commands alot of money right now just on the name
Intro was epic. Available for purchase?
We used to always put the flames Gibsons behind our head and play. "Hey man check out this flamed neck!"
Awsome Tone man! Guess the amp is pretty good too.
6:35-6:46.... 7:04-7:06. Sold. Wow. That was beautiful. I can't justify $2700, but i may have to get those pickups to cram into a MIM Fender Tele.... Congrats on that guitar. She's a beaut'.

That song is wicked. Love it
I dream with this guitar. It's beautiful.
What a beauty. How is it versus a Gibson LP Special p90?
Wow, great song .Do a lesson on that song.Cool guitar too!
I believe you purchased this one from Matts Music!? How does the Jescar FW47095 frets feel on these? I own a Cali, but never played one of these!
Is that two tone or three tone burst? It is a great looking and sounding guitar. Thanks for the review
Sounds great
Such a sweet ass guitar..hate the price tag though..sounds mega sweet..great playing bro🤘🤘
Sounds great! Curious about which ir you used in the two notes...?

Great guitar and fantastic intro playing
World class review!
tight work! I want one now!
What do you think of HSS Strats? Mine is Shawbucker with v mods, doesn’t sound great with high gain amp, is that just normal Strat harshness? Or pickups?
This is my favorite guitar that you own. Wish I could afford it!😢
quality stuff dude

What is that wonderfull song? We'we heard it on a lot of your (excellent) vidéo.
Been waiting for this🤘
You still own it/play it?
I like Grovers own line of the same stuff 1/2 the price .
You gotta demo one of those Page telecasters that Fender just made
You are awesome!!
I really want to get myself a Fender 72 Custom Tele, any thoughts?
I want it!!!
Have you played the Classic T?..I'm wondering how the stock T pickups sound..
I almost bought one they had at NAMM. They are very nice!

Try adjusting the height. Otherwise just practice standing sometimes. Feels odd because it's not what is in your muscle memory
Sick axe bro
Robert (the only guy who can pull off a blue jean jacket with black jeans) Baker
I've said it before and I'll say it again... Friedman is out Marshalling Marshall and out Fendering Fender.

Vintate T or Les Paul?
Is there a H9 video yet?
P90's sound good bruh
Is that your song in the intro jam? I need that!
It was pretty awesome!
We need an answer
Sure is my man. Will be on my next Ep
yo, did you ever listen to Grand Funk RailRoad
NOIIIIIICE!!!!!
Dude. Accidentally played the vid at 1.5x and couldn’t even tell until you started talking.
As DSus2 has been copyrighted, I'm gonna do the same for the A chord and all variations...…. See you in court guys (leaves with evil laugh and cute furry kitty on arm)…..
nice video
Could you do a video about changing those P-90's??
Don't change them... they sound amazing. I have a prototype friedman someone replaced the bridge with a SD and it sounded terrible compared to the P90. Glad I got the original pup with it. First thing I put back on mine.

What i wanna know is did you really just put your sexy lookin tele on the pavement for a thumbnail?
Nice Tele. Ugly headstock. Chinese copy? ;-)
Ha!ha! Copyright😂

Forth
I'm just gonna tell you straight out why this guitar freakin sucks...................because I don't have one.
