I really enjoyed watching your comprehensive comparison of these tablets. I purchased the S8 Ultra for $90 (with a free backlit keyboard case) when I purchased my Fold4 back in 2022. I mainly use the tablet for media consumption and noticed the screen wasn't bright enough when under an umbrella at the beach recently. So, this week, I pulled the trigger on the S9 Ultra mainly for the brighter screen for just $120 with the trade-in of my S8 Ultra. It's not a bad deal, thanks to Samsung. I'll get out my dremel to retrofit my S8 Ultra back cases for the S9 Ultra.
I'm glad you found the info helpful. The brightness of the s8 Ultra is definitely something I never noticed until I tried to watch something outside one day. Glad the S9 Ultra rectified this. The prices you paid for both, are even better than the deals l i was able to get. How'd you pull that off? I never thought about using a dremel to make that camera hole bigger. I'm hoping that works out.

@@WIHRC Your video helped me a lot; I play only one game, which is not very demanding: RUclips and browsing. I was even thinking about the Xiaomi pad 6 or pro, but S8 ultra big screen is tempting
I,m watching this video on my s8 ultra. I have the samsung tab a 10.1 inch 2019 but I wanted a bigger screen so I got the s8 ultra for $699 but got it for $599 because I had a $100 gift card. I just wanted to watch tv shows and movies on the tablet. I didn't wanted to pay $1000 for the s9 ultra. I'm happy with my choice. You have the ambient light on for the s9 ultra vs s8 ultra on the display 5:31 and at 20:50. I can tell because the black bars on the top and bottom has a brighter color on the s9 ultra. On the s8 ultra is jet black.
I got a huge trade in credit with s8 ultra upgrade to S9 ultra. Only paid 170 after trade in on Samsung site. Processor upgrade is well worth the 170 paid.
I was wondering why the bars looked like that on the s9 ultra. I thought it had something to do with how much brighter it seems to be than the s8 ultra.
Hi thanks for doing the test. Which one sounds better? Like whoch one has a better fidelity of original sound reproduction? From the limited audio system I have it sounds like the s9u highs are more airy or irritating, not sure if that's true.
I'd have to agree with you. I recall the S8 Ultras speakers being more.....rich, whereas the S9 Ultra isn't bad but do sound like a step backwards in a sense.
1. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra: • Video Playback Resolution: Supports up to 4K (3840x2160 pixels) resolution. This means it can display video content in Ultra High Definition, offering the highest level of detail and clarity available on this device. 2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6: • Video Playback Resolution: Supports up to 4K (3840x2160 pixels) resolution. This means it can also play 4K content, similar to the Tab S9 Ultra. Key Differences: • Screen Size and Resolution: While both tablets support 4K video playback, the Tab S9 Ultra has a much larger and higher-resolution display (14.6 inches, 2960x1848 pixels) compared to the Tab S6 (10.5 inches, 2560x1600 pixels). This means that even though both can play 4K video, the Tab S9 Ultra can display more detail and has a larger screen to enhance the viewing experience. • Display Technology: The Tab S9 Ultra features a Super AMOLED display with deeper blacks and more vibrant colors compared to the Super AMOLED or AMOLED display on the Tab S6. This can lead to a better overall viewing experience for 4K content. In summary, while both tablets support 4K video playback, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra offers a more immersive experience due to its larger screen size, higher screen resolution, and advanced display technology.
If you don't care for the Qatar resistance and a brighter display, which makes a difference in the sun, then the Tab S8 Ultra is the one you should look into. If the specs I mentioned do matter, then the S9 Ultra would be better.

@99guesswhat I need to work on my promotion stacking skills lol. Glad you were able to get such good deals.
This is a fantastic video. You deserve way more followers! Thanks
Thanks much. I appreciate that.
Thank you, basically if don't do any video editing on the tablet, there is no point in buying the S9 ultra
More so if you're not doing anything graphically intensive and don't need the water resistance then the S9 Ultra is most likely not worth it.

@@chrisw4215I have the 12 inch ipad. M2. Wanting the S8 Ultra. 100% The screen will be an amazing advantage. Best advice… go bigger!

That's a pretty good price. Also, you're right, I am using ambient mode. It was used to differentiate between the two in those scenes.

I'm currently watching this content on my S9 Ultra and loving it ❤❤❤

Tab S9 Ultra uses Dynamic Amoled 2X
@bashibrahim2849 it does , but ultra and s6 price deference is massive . S6 a bargain with UHD , don't u think
I needed a tablet for college, which one should i get? The S8 ultra or the S9 ultra?

@syoo- No problem. Enjoy which ever device you end up going with!!
Hi 👋 is the s8 dual amoled screen ? And the brightness is much higher on s9 ? Thank you
The Tab S8 Ultra does not use dual Amoled displays. The S9 Ultra significantly brighter than the S8 Ultra, especially when used outdoors.
Really I'm going to keep my 8 ultra, is better
I want this
