In my opinion, Jacob's one of the few examples of a comedy relief *done well.* He's the wide-eyed newcomer into the world of wizardry. He has a few legit funny scenes. He has his bumbling moments, but it's never to the point of being annoying. And even though he's *very clearly* outmatched in these situations, he still does what he can to help.
I was in Jacob's position for both movies all the way through - I was awestruck by all the magic spectacle, but I had absolutely no clue what was going on.
Jacob I think gives the best reactions to how a lot of people would actually act after seeing magic like that, I mean if I saw any of those creatures, I'd definatly be scared but even more interested and curious of them.
Quinnie wanted to marry Jacob, but at the time, magical folk marrying mortals was illeagal in America-times must have changed because Samantha married Darrin!
@@F3lipe-u8x If you are referring to the second Fantastic Beast film, you will know that it was still illeagal for magical folk to marry mortals then, that is why Tina fled to England with Jacob . And why Jacob left her. This was years before Samantha married Darrin.
@@suicidallizard9266 But lifting the ban on magical folks marrying mortals was a step in the right direction, as Samantha would say. And it did progress over time, with how many half-bloods were born as a result-including Tabitha and Adam Stevens!
Every woman when i was young was a ligianmentasia (or what ever ) they new when a boy was hungry just by looking at the boy .... An so do the real woman with their man

Yeah it is not easy to achieve , like Marvel humor that shit is annoying
I think it’s because he’s someone who shouldn’t be seeing what he does. He’s not a fish out of water, he’s someone who shouldn’t even be in the ocean

I wonder when Kowalski asked Queenie to stop reading his mind if he was worried she would see and experience the horrors he saw during the war?
OOOOOOOOOH NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT
there was a deleted scene on the rooftop where Queenie read his mind and found out that his brother died in the war
Dan Fogler is such a great actor. He can do this and movies like Balls of Fury. Such breadth.
1:50 was dying in the theater when I first saw this scene. that wack with the briefcase a couple seconds later was perfectly done!

i just like Jacob Kowalski, it's my favorite type of character!
His high pitched laugh always gets me. I could watch this series a hundred times over and still never get used to it. 😂
*Egg hatches*
Newt: I CREATE LIFE...!!!
Hey Mr. English guy I think your egg is hatching

Yeah, but Darrin wasn’t accepted by people besides Aunt Clara. Not to mention, Darrin tried to stifle Samantha’s magic too.
Did autocorrect strike? lol
Just one question, did the marriage still stand, since many things happened in the other film

Legilimens
Unironically the best character in this butchered trilogy.
Definitely
