@@ClassASurfacing what do you mean ? nx was there before down of the time, it is a very powerful software indeed, but for example lets compare it with zwsoft, which is a corresponding alternative , a 30 gb software vs a 1.5 gb software, of curse nx wins in terms of tools and abilities but zw3d wins in terms of performance , you can definitely model any parametric thing you want in all of these software ...

Those things were tried and most people did not like them. It is expensive to keep stuff people won't use.

number one issue with nx in comparison with mcneal software is PERFORMANCE
That software is purpose built so it makes sense. But, give Siemens time, they are a fabulous company always making things better.
