This video actually wasn't that bad. A lot of the nitpicks largely come from us knowing better. Some people don't know though, so its good for this "Blunt" Information to be told.
0:55 Birds evolved from theropods waaay before the K-Pg extinction, during the Mid-Jurassic. They didn’t evolve from non-avian theropods that survived the extinction.
Birds are avian dinosaurs, warm-blooded reptiles, and the only extant theropod dinosaurs. They first appeared 72 million years ago in the late-cretaceous period and are the only dinosaur lineage to survive the K-T extinction unlike all non-avian dinosaurs.
It's worth to keep in mind that videos like these are made mostly for people who have ZERO knowledge about paleontology, so in this case it's actually good that this guy was saying commonly known facts. I wish more people would gain this basic paleontological knowledge
Those "misconceptions" could be summed up in two ways: 1. Creator acts like stuff from Dinosaur Renaissance are novel and ground-breaking ideas 2. Jurassic Park is fiction
I just love that he says some factual things but only then to contradict them with outdated dino cliches that he used and sprinkled throughout the video
To be fair as crazy as it is most of this really isn't common knowledge, it's obviously meant to be educational for those who know next to nothing about accurate dinosaurs, it's not perfect but it's not as bad as it's made out to be here
The narrator of the base video is possibly one of those extremely indecisive creatures who can't decide if "all dinosaurs" were cold blooded, or warm blooded, or mesothermic 😮
ok so when you were saying "these roars for rex are giving me ptsd" those were used in a "do not use this in a realistic version" way not a "oh this is good for realistic roars".
Why do these bad list videos never use the term "species" correctly. Theropod isn't a species, an example of a species would be T. rex, E. annectens, V. mongoliensis, P. longiceps, etc. Theropod is a clade of Dinosaurs that multiple species belong to. Saying Theropod is a species is like saying Primate is a species.
There is nothing wrong with the video plus I’m subscribed to you and him his videos are ok they don’t know just ask in the comments of the video politely and correct all the mistakes he made in that video you watched
Another bad Paleontology video ok, here we go.
*Sees a Clip from 65*
TAKE ME BACK!!!! TAKE ME BACK!!!! TAKE ME BAAAAAAAAAAAACK

I'm annoyed when they don't acknowledge that birds already existed since mid Jurassic with other dinosaurs.

1:08 to be honest, prehistoric planet does use a few jp roars for the rex if you listen closely
Oh I Did One Comment About This A Day ago

1:09 Yeah Your Right But They Used It Before And It Was A Low Pitched Sound
Well most people think a t rex is the size of a 10 storuy building 💀
The I’m pretty sure even Brightside knows that many dinosaurs lived in complete different times got me😂
Wondershare filmora:
Channels that make those videos get a don’t recommend channel from me.

Hey it's the sound effects from Slaver Studios (now known as studio)!
Did avians just luck out?!
Thumb rail looks like a tigerrex
11:56 Why did you now use Jurassic World Mosasaurus when earlier you used a much better (and more accurate) Mosasaurus from Prehistoric Planet? 🤦
I don’t think it matters when he used pterodactyls and used jp rex on pp rex video
And 65 ugly cat rex
Me: where do you find all these?
Video: this is bright side!
Me: ok that explains it
2:46 imagine if he said 13 m long
As a dinosaur i can confirm 66 million years ago was detroit.
Nice video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Why is there Pluto? 5:16
Clearly this video was made for Toddlers
Very clearly
4:37 he is showing brachiosaurus and agrentinosaurus
11:03 also that’s a caiman

Why are people so offended if someone says a flying reptile is a dinosaur, I mean I know it’s not but chill 😭
The video are a bit confusing but at least they are "kinda" Accurate
1:34 That is a Fasolasuchus from 65.
I thought that was a tiger Rex from monster hunter
@@Theagentofchaos-r5qYou mean Tigrex
@@kaleozepeda4583 yeah its just my phone auto corrected it I think
The quadruped whatever is it is just AI generated esque slop of a dinosaur design
@@Theagentofchaos-r5qthat’s an insult
Hej dude, just met your channel why do you use filmora to make the videos?
8:03 that’s a siats
Well, prehistoric planet did use the Jurassic Park T-Rex sound
It was drowned in alligator sounds but it's honestly more accurate than the average roars

I think your overreacting a bit about him showing Media/fantasy dinosaurs
Jurassic park nallbe
The video isn't that bad tbh, you made a few pointless statements on it, but it is clearly made for kids
