Okay I can explain. I built Snake-Eye like a month after it came out and got bored so as an experiment I was like, what if I just made completely Main Deck Snake-Eye and saw what happened. But that wasn't quite funny enough so I went, hey, what if I played it with just GOAT format cards and Pyro support like the kid. This was kinda funny because of specifically UFO Turtle and you would somehow win games off of Counter Trap + Flamberge lol - my favorite thing is Horn of Heaven tribute Flamberge. But a lot of the Thing in the Crater type cards just didn't really work. So ultimately I decided on "Boomer Snake-Eye", still no Links or anything, pure Fusion ED. Some of the Fusions are remnants from when I threw in every bad Goat fusion because I thought they were funny, but there's a few staggeringly unlikely Fusion targets here: King of the Swamp only - Millennium Eyes, Time Wizard of Tomorrow (rip IF) Snake-Eyes Diabellstar (Spellcaster) + Flamberge - Mysterion the Dragon Crown Another Fusion on board already (I can steal one occasionally with Creature Swap UFO Turtle also) - Magnum the Reliever Face-Up Flamberge/Big Baseball Kid + Set Anything - Ace Spades Ash Blossom + Ash Blossom/Ghost Belle - Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon And the others are generic. My favorite part is that nobody knows how to react when they see Poplar search Startling Stare. It's like I'm just making a card up in real time. I will continue to see if I can make this deck stupider.
I feel like Snake-Eye was originally meant for this kind of madness. But the generic Synchro/Link stuff just wound up too easy to go into so everyone just did that because ED tools = consistent plays.
@@metalmariomega Oh, they knew exactly what the Snake-Eye cards would be used to do, they could have made them limit your link plays but they didn't. They printed Promethean Princess for a reason. I wouldn't say they were /meant/ to do these things, I would simply say that the way that they function happens to also be bluntly good even without all the generic cards they support. They are simply an extremely strong value engine that can win the game on its own.
It isn't. The OCG name for the card is literally just "Commander". The reason it doesn't have the exclusion errata text is because we don't have the card in the TCG yet.
All of those saying Cyber Commander and Cyber Soldier are actual Cyber monsters are wrong. They just haven't been released in TCG yet to get the exclusion errata.
@@guilhermewhite7274 Good question! I think Ghoti Magikey is lowkey really good since you get to do the whole setup and play the most ways to get there (Gale Dogra is a 1 card combo there) Magikey Salamangreat is decent too, Salad has a lot of starters so even if you get those ashed you can do the rest Soon fiendsmith will come and that too is a very good way to win often.
18:11 there's no way this is the play. Why on earth would we not just attack into both face ups with the rulers and then make Dracossack to pop the set which is almost assuredly a Shaddoll monster so they get the worse effect. Not only do we clear the board, but we also put them on 4 darks in grave for the DAD we KNOW is in their hand.
I appreciate Konami errata on the not Cyber named cards to not be Cyber monsters. I was expecting unforeseen synergies with them that will break the meta
Ironically, while it's easier now more than ever to OTK with the Cyber vanillas, I've only ever won summoning and attacking with a playset of Cyber Commanders.
I love how inconsistent Konami is with renaming cards to fix archetype snafus. Frog the Jam is not a Frog, so it was renamed into Slime Toad. Harpie's Brother is not a Harpie, so it was renamed into Sky Scout. Cyber Falcon, Cyber-Tech Alligator, Cyber Soldier of Darkworld: "Nah just slap a disclaimer on them and call it a day"
Part of it was degree of accuracy, Cyber being used for cyborgs and cybernetics is still accurate, just misaligned, Frog the Jam and Harpie's Brother are way off, and also Frog the Jam had been handled the exact opposite way(every Frog support rejecting it) for like years so it was on the Seriously, Fix It docket
In japanese they weren't called "cyber", but were translated into cyber cards in english. Like "frog the jam" wasn't called frog in japanese so cards that affect or search for "frog" cards wouldn't have worked on it in the ocg, but since it was translated into a frog card in english they have to specify it isn't a real frog.
Back in class they never taught us this card is not treated as a "Cyber" card.
I was never told what Cybers there are
But some things you gotta learn hit or miss
It's a huge shame that ラーのプラモデル発売中 was probably playing the game in Japanese and couldn't get the joke about the Cybers that aren't Cybers.
I hope they got paid for the free ad for the sale of frs Ra though

Is Cyber Commando a Cyber card?
Cimo: Does it say it isn't?
Actually no, so it is.
It isn't. The OCG name for the card is literally just "Commander". The reason it doesn't have the exclusion errata text is because we don't have the card in the TCG yet.
@@mystikx2205 and now I eagerly await for the Japanese version of Danny to get a sub replay about spamming this guy out for Commander format
Unfortunately the first replay neglected to weave unofficial Karakuri member "Cyber Saurus" into the combo 😂
It's funny because Zane definitely runs some of those cards in tag duel games lol
All of those saying Cyber Commander and Cyber Soldier are actual Cyber monsters are wrong. They just haven't been released in TCG yet to get the exclusion errata.
You say it like Master Duel can't just add the disclaimer before their TCG (re?)release to properly reflect the way they work in the game.

5:09 Trap cards are magenta or pink. In what world is that color purple when the fusion monsters are right there?
That was in reference to a rant in the most recent meme video where the Yugioh rulebook (stupidly) said that Traps are colored purple.
"This is not a Cyber card"
"I disagree"

Crazy how that is simultaneously a Cyber deck and also NOT a Cyber deck.
Never in my LIFE would I mistake that card for a cyber card.
Kle really understands how to break Danny. It's beautiful, really
Is there any actual reason to have erratas on those cards to specify they aren't "Cyber" cards?
There’s a few cards that equip to and search cyber machine monsters. I think that’s the reason why.
@amanonaquest451 I get that, but I haven't really found a reason on why it's enough against the interaction to specify

Yeah it’s just anti fun/ weird. It’s not like it’ll break the game if they don’t exclude them.
