i appreciate the interest in this video of my friend Big Ron Hunter and my guitar, which is a stock GS mini mahogany guitar. I know it looks like it but it is not a Koa model. Their website has other guitars built of mahogany that look very similar to mine. thanks

I have a LE Taylor 412ce and a Vintage Martin D18 and I use my Mini when I upload most of my videos to RUclips. You can really get your arms around it. I love the smaller scale and yet it has a big sound. And they come with the Expression system electronics now! Even better. This was a lovely demonstration my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Big Ron that Taylor GS Mini does sound good and perfect with you..It looks like your playing a KOA or Mahogany top version and thats giving it a beautiful warm tone for that great classic blues your playing. I have the Taylor GS Mini Spruce Top which has a bright, loud, clear tone to it and maaaaan that guitar is loud when it's unplugged....It's gotta be that slight arch back on it? It makes a 3/4 guitar sound so BIG and I Love It. By the way...those were great tunes you were playing and I really did enjoy your singing too!

Yep I like the Mahogany version. Warm full sound not brittle. Put LR baggs anthem SL pickup on my GS mini.

Is the "make your guitar talk" part an actual song or something he was just making up as he went? That gets stuck in my head a lot. I've watched this video so many times since finding it earlier this year.
Reading the video's notes, not sure what is so "unusual" about playing and singing the blues, but OK. This guy sounds great.

These are really great guitars. I`ve had mine 9 years now. Played it every day and wore out the first few frets making the strings buzz. I ordered a new one a few days ago. It should be here any moment. The new one has a built in tuner.
