@@Its_Mopar72 - man I always wince when people say they’re painting the outside black. I’m way up in NY and no way I’m painting a summer car black because they soak in the heat from the sun. Like a dang BBQ grill inside! Also gloss black shows every piece of body work. Don’t get me wrong because it will look freaking amazing 😻 but keep your mind open on a different color if possible 🤷‍♂️

Brother,No matter where you are in your business, projects are a way of life When I first started doing completes, I did about 40 square body trucks. And by me I'm by South Bend, they all were floors,stiffeners,rockers,cab corners, doors inner and outer fenders. Back in mid 80s parts were still cheap. You do a really great job. Speedo Kote SMR-42 is just as good if not better, and much cheaper. It’s on sale through e-bay right now. Hands down the best clear for the money. #notSponsored

@@davemcaferty6347 - Matrix is good but dang they jumped the price the past few years. I run between 28-32 psi out of a DeVilbiss Tekna Pro lite, 1.3 tip with a T110 cap from Europe. I generally don’t need to buff. If you’re looking for a top tier show car clear I use SPI Universal Clear, it’s a bit more money but only necessary on high end jobs. My projects typically don’t require much polish because I add in pearl flakes so people focus on them. A RUclips channel to check out is “Speedo Kote Refinish Network” the guy Marco is a bit loud but very talented.

Definitely very affordable compared to other brands. I’ve found their clear to be good but very thin. For the money Speedo Kote SMR-42 is a much better (thicker) clear. I would definitely recommend UreChem color and base coat products for the money. 💪
