Who Are You Becoming Like? - February 23, 2024 DD

"We are not to imitate this world. We are to imitate Christ." Today's reading from Leviticus 18 and Psalm 26 reminds us that we, Christians, are to be the light of the world. We are not meant to blend in with the world but rather set Jesus as our example.
1 Corinthians 15:33 NLT
Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.”
Leviticus 18:1-3 NLT
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I am the Lord your God. So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life.

And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:7-9 NLT
For you know that you ought to imitate us. We were not idle when we were with you. We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it.
