It looks like you're having so much fun singing this song, which makes it so much fun watching and listening to you! Brava!!!
Stop being a butkisser Micheal!!!!!
Thank you!!! That's great to hear because that was my main goal with my performance - to have as much fun as I possibly could. So glad it came across!
wowww! absolutely flawless x
If the directors/producers want to make a gender-bent version of Hamilton, then you better go and audition for got Queen Georgina (or Georgette, either one works fine imo)
Wait really ?!
That would be an absolute DREAM!!! :D
I WOULD- JUST- YES
How about Georgia
I love the facial expressions. Seems like she was really channeling the king for this performance
This performance always puts a smile on my face. Love the texture of your voice. I want to hear more.
I *literally* couldn't have done it with out you & your genius backing track! Thank you so much for being part of it!
The best female cover, I’ve heard
Thank you so much!!! :D
The only difference was that she made it more American
That was a challenge! I was so used to singing along with Jonathan Groff's performance on the OBC, but knew I didn't want to copy him (or worse - do a bad British accent!). :)
This translates perfectly !!!! Love's Labor Lost !!!! ******* BRAVO ******* "You'll be the one complaining when I am gone" !!!!
This is the very best cover of this song that I heard! Thak you so much for sharing your great voice and fun with this song with us
Thank you thank you! That's super kind of you to say. I had a LOT of fun doing this cover so I'm glad you enjoyed :D
I searched specifically for a female cover of this song and you did not disappoint! Thank you!
Why does it sound like a mother singing to her misbehaving child 0-0
Mother Gothel...
Jemma Scott oh my god yes 0
"AND NO DON'T CHANGE THE SUBJECT, CAUSE YOU'RE MY FAVORITE SUBJECT"
I love that you're singing this in the original key. Also, your the gorgeous texture on your low notes on "in your tea" gave me some Amanda Palmer vibes--thanks for the Dresden Dolls throwback! Your enthusiasm is contagious. :) Your voice is so lovely.
Thank you! Wow, I just went down a Dresden Dolls rabbit-hole, that's a real compliment! Re: the original key, I mean like a lot of people I'd done a LOT of singing along with the OBC, and that "when you're GONE" note always felt so good in my range. So I thought, why change it? :)
OMG!!!! I really enjoy listening to this. Her voice gave me chills down my whole spine!!!! Wish I could sing like this someday 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you! That means so much. Glad you enjoyed! :D
Came for the song, stayed for your personality
Ah, that's so kind of you to say. Thank you, thank you!
You hit those low notes nicely
2:26 slaps every time✨✨
What a beautiful sound Kristin Ring has! I know her Dad & Mom Jim & Mo Deitz are very proud & rightfully so!!!!!!!!!!!
You were amazing, beautiful voice!
Fantastic song, Fantastic cover.
Absolutely fabulous. They should cast you in all-female or gender bending rendition of Hamilton - You knocked it out of the park.
This is the best cover I have EVER seen!!!!
Thank you!!! :O
Love it!
I love this cover!
I love the adlibs too.... beautiful work!
Thaaaank you! I worked hard on those - definitely wanted to try and make the song my own! :)
Love your singing of this amazing song
Fantastic performance!!
This seriously needs more views
Aaah thank you! I'm pretty STUNNED it's almost at 5K... whaaaat?!?
Kristin Ring Yeah and I like how you seem to be performing the song instead of just singing it. I think that's why I don't typically like Broadway song covers.

Just broke 20K views... whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
Kristin Ring ayyyy
Wow. Just great.
this is just.............
.... perfect
Excellent!!
Very amazing
I love your voice!
Your voice is incredible 😍
This is amazing...
Yowza, Kristin!!
I also have a lower voice than most guys, I'm not a tenor so I mostly sing girl songs because that where im more comfortable and im happy that I'm not alone on this one :)
I have a low voice too and I can do the British accent very good 😂
And I have a lot of spit in my mouth when I was singing it
👁💧👄 💧👁
Fun!
Any link to Ms. Ring's other work? Would love to hear her voice more
That's so kind of you. If you click on my profile I've got a playlist called "My Performances". :)
I knew it was a good cover since the beginning of the video
Wow, you’ll be back sang country and western style.
u should do the other king George III songs!
Would absolutely love to! Maybe in Broadway Covered - Part 2? ;)
is this in the original key? or has it been changed?
Original key! :)
Heyy I know the video is old but I'd just like to say that the term "genderswap" or "genderbend" is transphobic because it inforces the idea that gender=sex or that you have to ""look like a gender"" to be that gender. If I phrased that alright?
p.s but also as a lesbian this video makes me so hapy
Thank you for your comment - I really appreciate the education! I wanted to show by example that it's ok (and fun!) to sing songs that fit your vocal register, regardless of the sex or gender, so I hope that still came across. I will be more thoughtful about my word choice in the future. Glad you enjoyed! :D
What a load of nonsense. For the majority of people the term is entirely correct.
Ahhh...Hhmmm idk what to think...Good, okay, great? I'm not sure i think I'm looking for a lil more theatrical aspects in the performance
Thanks! I'm very new to performing on camera so I know there are things I can improve! :)
@@kristindeitzring Thank You!
her head said : ☪️
Am I the only one who thinks she kind of looks like Lorelai Gilmore?
Not enough sas srry haha
This is just terrible...
Great singer, but I am not sure she is capturing the snark.
Haha! Thanks! I don't disagree - I think I was going for more low-level possessive psycho than snark! :)
@@kristindeitzring Holy cow, thank you for the response. I had seen so many versions of this song and it seemed all about the snark/snotty type of tone. But watching you sing again, with what you were aiming for, I have a better appreciation for it, because I see what you were getting at, and I like it, especially considering the character and words in the song.
@@agrandcanyonoffucksgiven2776 Honestly, how could I *not* reply to someone with such an amazing user name?! Thanks so much for watching, and for your thoughtful comments. :D
Love it!
