There are a lot of theme parks where this happens. I mean, it's a very monotonous job, sitting there for hours, pushing a button to launch a roller coaster. Gotta do something to make it fun.

A family member of mine was in Cape town's station in the early 1980's. A thief grabbed her necklace wich wasn't really worth anything, more sentimental value than anything else.
She grabbed the thief's broach which was later appraised and found to be worth, in the 1980's about 25-30 thousand rands, that time the rand wasn't so cheap. The broach is still in the family and December it will be warn the granddaughter who's getting married.
Not bad trade I think.
Considering the thief was pocketing other people's valuables, I think your family member just stole someone elses stuff by accident lol, not that the broach would ever find its owner anyway after the thief took it

Also, these vents are not designed to carry the weight of one person, let alone multiple. They could've fallen out of the vents, injuring themselves or someone below them.

@@ptiger3677For most animals, not really due to the tough fibers in the paper and how indigestible it is. For Capybaras, they are rodents and their teeth are so hard and grow so fast that they need to teethe on stuff like tree bark to keep their teeth in good shape. Also they eat grass and fibrous plants which have a lot of cellulose in them. Paper is essentially sheets of cellulose so it's easy for them to digest

I'm going to assume it was rice paper. I see a few gimmicks that use rice paper and squid ink, both of which are safe for most animals, including humans, which often involves "fake eating paper"

Turned out that so many people without tix snuck in early into the stadium that huge crowd of people who HAD tickets were shut out. They were trying whatever they could to get inside. When told that the stadium was “at capacity” folks lost their minds.
Problem is that there were not security rings, as Colombian, we are astonished that the security system there was basically an invitation to sneak in, it is really sad that some people traveled so far just to being left outside.
The US already has stadium security plans for that exact stadium available for free online. Those plans are extensive and managed, but CONMEBOL refuses to have anything to do with the US Soccer Federation so why would they use tried and tested security measures when they can act like a toddler and make their own security measures, with blackjack and hookers!
