Man that call with Adam really hurt. That guy needs therapy, bad. On top of his clearly extremely toxic symbiotic relationship with his mom, making a blanket judgement on gays/lesbians based off of his anecdotal experience is way out of line. As someone who knows many people in loving, healthy, non-straight relationships, you need to check yourself man.

Boys youre doing great, but i think sometimes its okay to say something like "man i dont know, with out really getting into the details we probably cant give you a great answer". With that first call, thing seemed a little to complex and serious, and im not sure if the "move on and let your mom figure it out, shes an adult" was really good advice. Some people are prone to manipulation and we shouldnt just let it happen because they are reluctant adults. But yea the guy, if youre listening, youll figure it out, you should move out, and if any man women or child physically hurts your mom you are well within moral grounds (not necessarily legal so be careful) to hurt them 1000x worse

My overall things is that me and yall didn't have enough info to really know what he should say to his mom and if he should really just let her deal with it on her own. But what I can say is that advice at the end, no man or women or child should be able to hurt a women who can't/ won't defend herself, and if they do you are in moral grounds to do it back to then x1000
