  • Mandarins are members of the Spider Plant family and are native to the rainforests of East Africa. The showcase deep green leaves with contrasting bright orange midribs (called petioles); great for containers, or hanging baskets; tolerates drought and deep shade, Prefers bright, indirect light or artificial light.
    Fertilize in spring and summer with a general-purpose fertilizer formulated for houseplants. Per the instructions on the container. Do not fertilize during the winter.
    Prefers bright, indirect light & will thrive in a living room or placed in a sunroom. Water regularly when the top inch of the soil is dry.
    The grow to about 12-inches tall by 12-inches wide. The leaves can grow to about 12-inches long.
    Mandarins are self-sowing. plants and can be propagated by seed or by division.
